“Maybe cute isn't the word for a brewery but it is. Great atmosphere. Seating area has fun, and comfortable (unique) style of chairs. Great music (perfect low volume) coming through the speakers. Bartender is always friendly and very informative with drink options and decisions. New favorite spot. Paintings on wall are so good and supporting another local artist. Go see them and snack on the bagel food truck out front ?“

“This is a wonderful staple for Anchorage. Excellent traditional and adventurous beers, ciders and non-alcoholic offerings. Blended beers make visiting the brewery in person a unique and special experience. Did I mention fantastic prices for tap pour microbrews? Beautiful views, ample space, and a great roof top outdoor area in the summer. Changing tables and low seating to accommodate families. They not only allow, but provide board games! The food selection is a bit narrow, but it's good pizza and pretzels. This is, in my humble opinion, the best brewery in Anchorage. The only thing its missing is those classic pop-top IPA tall boys.“

“Great dog-friendly place for fantastic beers. A food truck was next door so we were able to enjoy a pizza with our beers. If you like sour beers you have to try Turnagain Brewing. The framboise sour was my favorite. The sweet and the sour mix was so yummy.“
“49th State always has a great atmosphere, service and food/drinks. I joined a large group event where our server Selcuk did a great job of balancing such a large group. Food and drinks were timely and delicious! I had the vodka raspberry soda made with 49th state raspberry soda. So delicious! The eggroll appetizer was delish! Highly recommend stopping by 49th State for excellent drinks and food!“
“We stopped in on a whim for the 1st time with my 4 year old daughter and parents and our server was a rock star! I didn’t get her name, but her customer service went above and beyond all the while we overheard her dealing with some questionable and unkind customers. She served them with aplomb and witty care; all with a smile. The food was also amazing! We’ll definitely be back for the food and over the top positive customer service that she provided. “Popped into Anchorage brewing when I was in town from Seattle. I tried their double and triple ipas, and thought they were both great. Ambiance was amazing. There was outdoor seating on the top of one of their buildings that had great views of the mountains. Indoors they had less space, but very cool.“
“I found Zip Kombucha while visiting Anchorage and was impressed! I have been drinking and brewing Kombucha for years and was very happy I found this place. The staff were very helpful and friendly and I enjoyed their kombucha very much. Will definitely come here when I’m in Anchorage.“
“Solid, adventurous beers for those who like stronger and sweeter beers like Midnight Sun and Anchorage Brewing Co. offer. Very kind and social owner who tends bar most of the time. The establishment does not cater to kids, but I suppose that's not the focus of most breweries. No changing tables, high bar style stools through most of the building, open brewing space, and no non-alcoholic offerings. If you're looking for a place to meet with adult friends or coworkers in a Cheers environment, this is one of the best in Anchorage. If you want to bring kids (esp infants), I recommend King St or Cynosure.“
