I’ve been coming here for 11 years, and it’s still my favorite bar in Anchorage. The staff is always welcoming, the drinks are strong, and the prices are good. It’s a relaxed, no-pressure atmosphere where you can actually enjoy yourself.

Cabin Tavern is a welcoming spot with a great atmosphere, offering a range of activities including billiards, pinball, and darts. It has a cozy fireplace and historic artwork on the walls, making it a perfect place to relax and have a good time with friends. Although the past perks of free snacks and live music may be gone, the tavern remains a great place to visit. The bartender, Shannon, is known for being very attentive, and the drinks served in Mason jars are a highlight. The venue features an awesome cabin woodworking feel and is surprisingly large. With a double horseshoe main bar, tons of high top table seating, and many TVs, it is a good place to chill, especially for sports fans. The dive bar prices and friendly locals create a friendly vibe that keeps customers coming back.
