I usually LOVE Oriental Garden! They are our go to option for Chinese food, which we regularly enjoy.
They usually have great portions, food is ALWAYS delicious. But tonight we ordered take out and i got SCRAPINGS of an order… You can see the bottom of the to go container just opening it. $22 for scrapings is ridiculous and they NEVER usually are like this. To say im disappointed, is an understatement. really hope we dont have to find a new go to Chinese restaurant..

They will charge you and once you leave the establishment they will charge your card 2 more times. my order came up $25, tipped $10. left to go home, checked my account couple days later with charges of $42.50 and a pending charge of $17.50.
called to dispute the charges and was called a liar. currently trying to dispute the charges with CU1.

Based on the reviews, Oriental Garden | Restaurant • Bar • Karaoke has a new chef that changed things around in a quick time. This restaurant is a favorite in Anchorage for Chinese food. The food is described as authentic Chinese American and nostalgic, like coming home from church on a Sunday to eat sweet and sour pork. The food is fresh and delicious, with big portions. Specific meals mentioned include sesame chicken, vegetable yakisoba, Mongolian beef, and sweet/sour chicken, which come with egg roll, fried rice, and egg drop soup. The staff is super nice and the service is great. The crew bent over backwards to make a 70th birthday celebration wonderful and memorable. It is a must have in the area and will not disappoint.
