“A charming little coffee house at the base of Alyeska with gracious & enthusiastic customer service from locals-also live music, beer, & wine! A Girdwood gem :)“

“We went a week ago on our way to Homer. We heard the bakery was good so we decided to try it. It is about 10 minutes off the highway. Head up the road past the mercantile shop on the left ( it is about 3-5 minutes after you see the mercantile- head straight). Where the road tees take a left then a right. The place is an order at the counter and they bring it out. There was a line but it moved quick. Even though it was raining we easily got a seat. We split the egg sandwich. My wife does not like sourdough but she raved about this sandwich. On our way back from Seward today after our Homer stop, 4 days later we went for lunch. We both got a cup of soup and sandwich. We thought half sandwich and cup of soup. But it is cup and whole sandwich. Food was great but we could have split it. Service great. Organization great. Clean and relaxing. Would highly recommend if in the area. The picture is of my wife’s cup and sandwich. Navy bean and pastrami. I got pastrami and mushroom. All good.“

“So we were in a glacier tour and our driver Chad told us the best coffee in all Alaska was “The Grind” so my friends and I had to give it a try.
We stopped by on our way to Kenai Fjord and it was good but not the best coffee in Alaska. I had better by Denali National Park 🤷🏻♀️ I had an iced doppio with a splash of almond milk. Decent. If you’re into vintage; the coffee establishment sells a bunch of items.
Also this is for the owner. When you’re going to write where the coffee’s are from check your grammar it’s COLOMBIA not COLUMBIA 🤦🏻♀️“
