“I'm not usually the type to leave reviews. But this place is special, from the staff, the atmosphere, and the consistency of the food. As you walk into the door you are greeted by a friendly hello. The menu is rotating weekly, but has staples that never leave, like the Bacon Egg and Cheese. They are the kind of place that if you frequent enough, remember your name and order. They make you feel like you are a part of their little family. Incredible food, better people.”

“Some locals suggested this place to me when I was out on the Spit several years ago disappointed that a favorite food truck that served fish and chips was closed. I promptly came here, and have looked forward to it all winter ever since. I have had halibut sandwiches, halibut/cod/rockfish and chips, rockfish tacos, a carne asada taco, a Helper hamburger, their frozen ice cream, and more. There are many drink choices; a refrigerator full. All of the fixings for the tacos and sandwiches are fresh. The tartar sauce is excellent. The seafood batter is just right, tasty and not too thick. In short, the food is excellent; the service is very friendly and quick; there are tables to sit down and eat indoors and outdoors, on a deck and on the ground; it is clean, neat, and there is parking. Can't beat the atmosphere, in an active commercial boatyard, with a view out to the Bay in the near distance. It is my go-to dine in or out place esp for seafood in Homer now.”

“I've been coming to homer for 8 years. Decided to give this place a try for the first time and i wish i would have came sooner. Riley was very sweet and made some good recommendations. I live full-time on the road, so i'm a total foodie. 10/10 experience. Even my coworker said it was the best Ruben sandwich he has ever had. I'll definately be back!!”

“Chris and the Fam at The Kannery, wow!!! Man I haven’t been impressed by many establishments in our 4 years here but yall exceeded our expectations. Great atmosphere, clean, efficient and the staff was very attentive. My wife had the ribeye and it was on the money. Not over salted or charred so the flavor of the steak came through and the butter was the perfect combo. I had the pastrami beef rib, I didn’t expect too much as I’m a really harsh beef critic. Dayumn, was it good. Top 3 beef ribs I’ve ever had and I’m from the heart of Texas where beef is a religion. Well done sir to you and your staff, we’ll be back. 5 star all star”

“My husband & I enjoyed lunch today (5-24-26) at the Twisted Goat... from time we walked in until the moment we left was so pleasant. They're super friendly & and made perfect recommendations. “By far the best BAR in Homer alaska! Amazing sound system and stage with live music, outside bbq and out door music stage, horse shoes, corn hole, pool tournaments, and some of the best bartenders this side of the peninsula! Their taco Tuesday is one of the best in town!”
