“Hi! I came in today around 4pm and grabbed the most delicous oat milk Baklava latte! I just wanted to give major props to the barista. He made it perfectly, the espresso was smooth and not bitter, it was perfectly sweetened and the milk was the perfect temp. I would have told him in person had I not gotten it to go but I wanted to make sure that credit is given. In a world where so many people are quick to complain, I want to make sure he knows that his skills behind the espresso bar are top notch. I was having a rough afternoon and that latte brightened my day! So major thanks to his kind demeanor and stellar coffee skills!“

“Omg this place is so good. Growing up in Seattle this place is better than some of Vietnamese restaurants I’ve had in Seattle. This place has great food. They’re super friendly.
I had the beef noodle soup and my bf had the wonton soup and we also ordered a side of the shrimp dumplings. Im not even kidding the flavors are so incredible.“

“Have you reached your breaking point with restaurants with too many choices? Do your eyes get tired reading through pages and pages of food options? Do you want simple? Then you have found your home at Pel'meni. You get no menu, 2 options, and at least 1 lb of tiny dumplings. Open late, delicious, no frills. Everything good comfort food should be.“

“In on a cruise day. After completing a cruise tour we stopped in for a few local beers. The beer was veey good. The service was excellent. I love the layout of the building with several large garage doors that open to create an outdoor feel on the nice days.“

“Excellent sushi! This place was recommended to me by a local in Hoonah and it did not disappoint! The dragon roll and American roll were amazing. The egg drop soup was the best I have ever had! “Spice is the only place in Juneau with authentic Indian dishes. The atmosphere is always pleasant, food is excellent, and they periodically bring in new dishes (aloo matar is my favorite when it’s available, so good). Staff are always nice, service is consistent. I can truthfully say they’ve never disappointed me, and in Juneau that’s very difficult to come by.“

“This is a nice Heritage location for anyone wanting to avoid downtown. It's in an old garage so in the summer they can open the side doors to let in fresh air, there is a neat loft, and it is quieter than the downtown location with lots of seating. Nice place to work.“

“Updated 2025.05.27. This Subway fast food continues to be a better value than the nearby McDonald's could offer or for dining ou. A better value meal that's healthier, faster, and less expensive if you split the foot long sandwich with two people. The ham, cheese and egg sandwich tastes better than what McDonald's has to offer despite McDonald's being much more popular.
Updated 2024.11.03. It's been six years ago since the last update but still have been coming here in a regular basis. Good value for fast food and a healthier as well as cheaper option. Best value sandwiches are the ham and the meatball. Seniors receive a small discount.
Updated 2018. Subway restaurants offers a consistent quality products. On Sundays, the sub of the day is meatball marinana $8 plus tax is $8.40. Ask to topped off with parmesan cheese and oregano on this sandwich. It's done in a few minutes to dine in or take away. Fast, efficient, tasty, easy on your budget. The valley location is open longer than downtown.“

“Food is good, location is nice and the big variety on the menu is amazing....
However if there is something that makes not much sense is the small advice on the wall which you can notice when it's time to pay (the charge is really extra).“

“paying 30 bucks for a medium cheese pizza ordered at 3:53 started making it at 4:25 someone told another coworker and forgot about it and said he didn't see the ticket. place has gone down Hill. wise thing a manager would due is refund the order. ridiculous, not wasting my time here no more.“

“Just go! I was apprehensive to dine here after seeing other reviews express concern for visitors/tourists. I went around five on a Wednesday and was warmly welcomed by the staff. Kept to myself of course! There are beautiful views and fantastic food. I couldn’t finish the salmon dip but highly recommend!
