“We were really craving some Chinese food during our time in Juneau, and this place came highly recommended. It is a wonderful family-run business operated by a sweet Asian uncle and his son. They make truly authentic Chinese food, and everything we ordered was delicious, fresh, and hit the spot perfectly. It is a fantastic local gem and a great stop if you are looking for a comforting, high-quality meal in town.“

“Waffles with ice cream? Yes please! We had the strawberry Nutella with a scoop of strawberry ice cream, and the Pistachio cream (think Dubai chocolate), with a scoop of chocolate ice cream. AMAZING. No pictures, the kids ate it too fast. Also, the giant brownies beckoned from the street fresh from the oven. Try it, you won't leave disappointed, or hungry!“

“In on a cruise day. After completing a cruise tour we stopped in for a few local beers. The beer was veey good. The service was excellent. I love the layout of the building with several large garage doors that open to create an outdoor feel on the nice days.“

“I stopped in here just to grab a latte to warm up from the cold and rain, and am now sad to know I'm only visiting Juneau and wont get to start everyday with this coffee. My latte is excellent, the service was efficient, and the café was nice and cozy. A great experience and I hope to return again next time I'm here!“

“Excellent sushi! This place was recommended to me by a local in Hoonah and it did not disappoint! The dragon roll and American roll were amazing. The egg drop soup was the best I have ever had! “This is a nice Heritage location for anyone wanting to avoid downtown. It's in an old garage so in the summer they can open the side doors to let in fresh air, there is a neat loft, and it is quieter than the downtown location with lots of seating. Nice place to work.“

“We had an event here last night with apps and I loved it so much I came back for dinner tonight. The friendly staff (my server was Namrata) were very helpful with food labeling and allergy related questions and the food was almost unspeakably delicious. If you are in the area I highly recommend it for a fresh and authentic experience. Monday they are having a festival of color in the streets to (optimistically for Alaska lol) welcome spring. If you are around you should let your gulal fly!“

“Updated 2025.05.27. This Subway fast food continues to be a better value than the nearby McDonald's could offer or for dining ou. A better value meal that's healthier, faster, and less expensive if you split the foot long sandwich with two people. The ham, cheese and egg sandwich tastes better than what McDonald's has to offer despite McDonald's being much more popular.
Updated 2024.11.03. It's been six years ago since the last update but still have been coming here in a regular basis. Good value for fast food and a healthier as well as cheaper option. Best value sandwiches are the ham and the meatball. Seniors receive a small discount.
Updated 2018. Subway restaurants offers a consistent quality products. On Sundays, the sub of the day is meatball marinana $8 plus tax is $8.40. Ask to topped off with parmesan cheese and oregano on this sandwich. It's done in a few minutes to dine in or take away. Fast, efficient, tasty, easy on your budget. The valley location is open longer than downtown.“

“Great assortment of Vietnamese, Chinese, Japanese and Korean food. The kalbi ribs were thick cut and perfectly charred. Photos are taken mid meal. Mandoo, both pan fried and in soup was delicious. Everything we had was good. Kimchi was especially tasty.“

“paying 30 bucks for a medium cheese pizza ordered at 3:53 started making it at 4:25 someone told another coworker and forgot about it and said he didn't see the ticket. place has gone down Hill. wise thing a manager would due is refund the order. ridiculous, not wasting my time here no more.“

“Definitely worth the stop in town!!! I know the food on the cruise ship is free, but this place is delicious. The halibut chowder is amazing! Will definitely warm you up on a cold day after a trip to the glacier.“
