Typical Juneau customer servicer (mid). Not bad but not great. Food is typical Juneau mid as well. Prices are mid for an airport. On a positive note they are the only food/beverage provider, expect for the 2 vending machines, on the secured side of the terminal. So hit them up for a cup of mid coffee. A mid sandwich that was not your preferred bread or meat. Enjoy folks!
They offered NO vegetarian lunches (all the salads had meat).
I was told to stay away from this place but I decided to at least try a Frappe for two days while I was at the airport. The Frappe was good. It had enough sugar and sweet flavor in it and wasn't overly expensive. Service on the first day was a bit slow. I had to wait 10 minutes for them to start making my drink but it was okay.
Tailwind Concessions is a convenient airport spot offering a variety of food options like pizza, burgers, and bar food. The pizza has plenty of mozzarella, and they can put on the sports you ask for. The Frappe is good, sweet, and not overly expensive, though service can be slow at times.
