Most amazing blueberry ice cream!
The server was so high she couldn't even get us water. I waited 30 minutes before finally going and finding a water pitcher myself. When my friend finally got her iced tea she asked for sugar. After 15 minutes I had to go find sugar for our table too. The food was not well cooked and way overpriced. This was my third attempt in 5 years to eat here and it just keeps getting worse.

Timberline Atop Mount Roberts offers stunning views and is in very good condition. The employees are very cool, and it’s especially beautiful when there's snow. It’s perfect for having a hot chocolate with cream near a window. The tram ride to the restaurant is great, though the cost can be high—$60 for a round trip. A fountain soda in a glass reusable container costs four dollars, and a cup of hot chocolate is five dollars. The last tram departs at 9 PM as of May 16, 2024.
This is a casual place with a spectacular view, offering outdoor seating and local beer on tap. The bar and food are upstairs, though some items like chips can be expensive. Wheelchair accessibility is available with an elevator to the gift shop. A trail loop at the top provides nice views, but parts may be challenging for those with mobility limitations. Visitors can enjoy the beautiful scene from the deck just off the back of the bar, even if they don’t walk the trail. The restaurant is a great spot to celebrate a hike, with good food, cold beer, and responsive staff. The view over Juneau is especially beautiful on a sunny August day. The fish and chips were delicious, and the crab nachos are highly recommended. The gift shop nearby has plenty of first nation-themed and locally tagged souvenirs, making it easy to find keepsakes. Overall, Timberline Atop Mount Roberts offers a wonderful experience and is highly recommended for at least one visit.
