“Wow! Excellent burgers! If you’ve ever had In & Out burgers, they are very close in flavor, but AJ’s has super fresh toppings and very soft buns. There’s a few picnic tables if you want to stay and eat (when it’s not raining) or you can order ahead, which most people seem to do. If you’re staying to eat, they even bring the food to you, which is above and beyond what more restaurants do nowadays!Parking: Small parking lot.“

“The fish and chips got rave reviews from my non-veg friends, but the customer service stole the show for me. They went out of their way to provide me with a grilled cheese sandwich, which was not on the menu. The generous portions cannot go unmentioned. Nice quiet lunch on the water, watching the boats come and go.“

“Delicious! First time eating fried salmon, and so glad it was here. Really a great way to finish my AMAZING trip to Alaska and glad to have had my last dinner here to have a real feel for the Ketchikan salmon experience. The wonderful staff working was a whole other plus. Thank you for all the great vibes and kindness! Deff check this place out if you can :)!“

“We were on an Alaskan cruise with friends and one of our stops was Ketchikan. Our duck tour guide recommended Ketchikan Crab & Go and we're so glad we took him up on his recommendation! Great atmosphere, friendly bartender, great service and HUGE crab legs that we're soooooo good! Others in our group had the chowder, crab fries and halibut fish & chips and all were very satisfied with their meals! Some reviews mention they're a little pricey but if you want authentic, delicious, Alaskan crab and other tasty meals, it's definitely worth it! A true Alaskan experience to be sure! Highly recommend them to others!“
“We stopped in Ketchikan on a cruise. The larger well-known places had lines that were literally two blocks long - thousands of cruise ship passengers trying to scarf something down before reembarking. We walked away from the bustle, and stumbled into the Krabby Crab shack.Excellent! The vibe was calm, the place was spotlessly clean and not stuffed with people. The service was friendly. The food was crazy good - sweet, fresh crab legs, chowder. The beer was ice cold. This was one of the best, most memorable, fun meals we had during an 11 day cruise. Before you go, check the website. The menu is limited, and it isn't cheap. You know why? Have you seen what crab fisherman have to go through to catch king crab? How the catches have been dwindling? We felt that we paid a fair price for great meal in a chill setting that was a great respite from the folks hawking tee-shirts and diamonds on the main strip. Hope that doesn't sound crabby! No, wait...“

“I love my Alavas...absolutely wonderful food. Best Halibut in town. Hand made batter and slaw from family recipes. The owners run it and do the whole nine. They're so nice and treat you like a regular every time. Give it a try for sure if you're in town!“
