“Sweet Gypsy is a welcome alternative dining space in the Valley. I'm a big fan of all my menu choices so far, except for the disappointing meat calzone. The salads are superb! I usually take home dessert for later, and they don't disappoint. I especially loved their version of carrot cake, but I try something different each time, and they are all great. I live a long way from Palmer, and SG will continue to draw me back. Give it a try.“

“My husband forgot half of our order when he picked it up. We went back and the entire staff was do incredibly friendly and helpful. My initial shock at their very youthful appearance quickly turned to admiration for their ability to work together as a team. The kids are alright!“

“We call Hatcher Pass Pizza “Pizza in a pinch”. I have never had them deliver as I live close by. The pizza usually has the proper amount of sauce, most places serve a dry pizza. This is a huge plus! The crust is bland but if you pay the extra you can get seasoning sprinkled on. I consider this a requirement. You can sure expect to find the toppings blobbed on and not distributed across the whole pizza. They also have a problem tracking their pizza’s sold to pizza’s paid for. Be prepared to PROVE you bought a pizza and didn’t get it. This happens if you use their website to pay for a pizza only to find they are not even open! Over all they are acceptable, but there are better places.“

“We have ate here several times and food is always very good and very good helpings for the price compared to other places.
We had the chicken bacon ranch pizza and also added extras of Canadian bacon , cream cheese, roasted garlic and feta and it was absolutely fantastic and the best pizza we have ever had!
It’s so nice that you can eat here at anytime of the day or night.
Black coffee is so good and smooth not nasty and bitter like other places.
I also like getting the Philly cheesesteak And fries and man they give you a good amount of fries unlike other places.
Our daughter loves the biscuits and gravy a lot.

Update went here again and waited 20 minutes & nobody ever came to help us, nobody to even say hi be with you in a few minutes no water or coffee or anything!
So disappointed & we got up & left.
Don’t plan on going back & we went to sweet Gypsy’s and had great food & service and the place was clean as well.“

“Absolutely our favorite place to eat and drink in Palmer. The staff are always friendly and happy to help customers. Our drinks brought out within a few minutes of ordering them, food was made quickly and delicious. We got two of the local ciders that were fantastic. My husband had the bacon Mac and cheese and it was incredible, so much flavor, creamy and hearty. I got a bacon cheese burger and it was just as good, perfectly cooked.

I highly recommend the Palmer Alehouse to anyone in the area visiting. The atmosphere is wonderful, very inviting and comfortable to be in. I do recommend that on weekends non Alaskans call to see how busy the place might be, we love our local 'watering holes' and keep them fairly busy.

For our meals and drinks it was about 70 bucks. All the food and drinks are very well priced.“
