“Nice bar restaurant on site at the lodge.
You can sit at the bar and eat without a reservation. They actually don’t take reservations.
Julie, our bartender was amazing.
Drinks and food were good“
“The food is great, bar food so what you pay is what you get but the selection is quite fun! They usually have a decent selection of beer, and beer on tap. Staff is efficient and kind! In the winter this is one of the few local food joints, with regular hours. Kid friendly!“
“An absolutely amazing place to stay. Everyone is so friendly and the rooms are so comfy. Feels like you are home. Really hope we make it back here again soon.“

“We were walking down the road and happened upon the bistro, it looked quiet and sits kind of on its own, but WOW!! It has been the absolute best meal of our trip so far. The service was wonderful, and the flavors of the food were just spectacular. We loved the rainbow chili nachos, the rice bowl (great veggies and shrimp), the fish tacos and the seafood mac. And the desserts were as indulgent as our server said they’d be. What a gem!!“

“Agree with others that are puzzled by the low reviews. Maybe there was a recent menu/staff change that improved things.
Anyway, very good food. HUGE portions. It's expensive because they kind of have to trapped there at the lodge. No real choices nearby to go to. So, they got ya. But, the plates are enormous. Most people could easily split an entre.
Service was very friendly. Seemed like maybe they were training new staff (seasonal, I'm sure, and we were there early May 2026), so things were a little slow. But, the food was delicious, lots of choices, and drink options were also numerous.
If you get seated near the windows, you have a breathtaking view of Mt. McKinley, assuming the clouds allow you to see it.“

“Good food, attentive service, and beautiful view in the back, made it worth dining at North fork. 2 other restaurants at Princess lodge are first come, first serve, North Fork is reservation only- that is convenient, don't have to fight the crowds. It is little more expensive compared to other two restaurants, however, it is well worth it. Both nights we dined at North Fork and enjoyed. Blueberry salad, Salmon bite, salmon chowder, blueberry glazed king salmon all were very good. Whipped feta appetizer was exceptional!“
