“Large capacity bar with pool tables, nice dance floor & stage with live music on the weekends. The serving staff are polite and seem like they enjoy their jobs. Large screen TVs for weekend sports and a decent amount of security that do a good job of keeping everyone under control and safe. Lots of parking space. Wish they had sandwiches/snacks (there is a popcorn machine).“
“One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday is take a ride out to the Tug Bar and get some breakfast. a wonderful little place with nice outdoor seating and tons of fenced in area for the kiddos to play around. they also now have MASSIVE bloody Mary drinks. Defiantly a must try!“
“Hamburgers were very good, had that char'd flavor we both enjoy. Also, they were very nicely sized. Fries were cooked perfectly as well. Neither my wife, nor I, could finish all the fries after concentrating on finishing our burgers. As far as atmosphere, there is a pool table near the eating area. If the sound of billiard balls breaking startles you, take that into account. Classic rock played over the sound system, we enjoyed the playlist while eating and having a beer....of which, there was a nice selection to choose from. I'm sure we will certainly return. Best entrance for dining, center entrance, backside of the building.“
“A cozy little gem which you'll miss if you blink, right off the highway going towards Big Lake from Wasilla. Friendly atmosphere, great service, good food, two halves.I was on the sports bar restaurant side although the diner side looks remarkably quiet and relaxed. The sports bar restaurant side was quite the polar opposite. A bit loud but that's just due to the small size. The food was great, the prices weren't exorbitant.Always ask what the daily special is otherwise you might miss out!Very busy but attentive staff!Regular or not, they are quite welcoming.It was a good experience.Would go again.“
“Our family always has a great time bowling at North Bowl. The concessions are high quality and fairly reasonably priced. Employees are generally very helpful (have only ever had one employee ever give an ounce of attitude, everyone else is friendly and helpful). The only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because some of the lanes tend to get stuck or the bumpers don't raise/lower properly between players. Staff is usually pretty attentive when there's an issue like this, but sometimes it happens several times in a game and we have to get someone's attention multiple times to get it fixed. Overall, our family recommends North Bowl.“
“I have never stayed at the hotel. The location is ok. If you are head into Wasilla towards Fredmyer, it's easy to get to, but if you are headed towards Walmart, it can be difficult to get across traffic. They have pretty good food and decent cocktails. “My husband received a nice gift certificate to Basil Ginger. We made reservation for a party of 7 at 3:00pm for a family birthday party on a Saturday.The restaurant was busy but not backed up.The servers were so friendly and helpful.They didn't waste time standing around ,they were busy serving our meal in a timely manner..our glasses and cups were kept full.7 different meals all were enjoyed. Big servings and professionally pleasing to the eye. An extensive menu to fit anyone's pallet or eating requirements..gluten free. Vegan. Etc.Highly recommend by our party for relaxing tasteful dinning experience.They definitely go above and beyond .“
