The French onion soup is a standout, with its sweet and savory notes. While the Golden crab was a satisfactory substitute for the unavailable king crab, it was still very flavorful and easy to eat. However, the pepper steak, though moist, lacked the expected pepper flavor. Despite being too full for dessert, the overall experience was great. The Lodge's offerings are respectable, with decent prices, though the execution on some dishes, such as the French onion soup and risotto, could be improved.
