Ice Cream Shops near Albertville

“This place is a sneaky little jewel hiding in downtown Albertville. I suspect it gets ignored due to the plethora of other hispanic restaurants in the area, but THE ICE CREAM IS NOT TO BE MISSED!

After being overwhelmed by what was the greatest spread of homemade ice cream pops that I've ever seen, we settled on a few scoops of their home-made ice cream. They have a huge list of flavors, and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT! The peanut butter cup and blackberry cheesecake were both excellent.

This will be my go to ice cream shop in Albertville going forward; next time I might also get lunch there as well.“

“This is the Burger Man with Best Burgers in America Association, after a long day out scoring burgers for restaurants, I decided to go and celebrate my day with some Ice Cream, and I tried the New Location for Cold Stone Creamery, in Albertville, AL, and WOW! This place is awesome. My wife & I got a cup with two scopes, and it was amazing. I got the Coffee & Chocolate Fudge, and my wife got the Salted Carmel & Chocolate Fudge, and we were in Ice Cream Heaven. Great Stuff, folks. This will be Burger Man's Ice Cream go-to place for sure. Yum. I also want to thank them for the Military Discount. This old Combat Soldier was treated great. The owner is really nice.“

“In the past I was not happy with my experience at this store. Today I was very happy with the service and the ice cream. An employee named Dex remembered me from the previous trip and remembered our conversation about the flavors of ice cream and the fact that no waffle cones were available. He made sure there was waffle cones and told me right off the bat they just opened up a container of butter pecan. I am very thankful for Dex and kudos to him for an excellent customer experience.“

“I always love Sonic. Only reason for the four stars is that I did witness an employee getting rude with someone in the car booth next to ours while our children were in the car. And the older woman in the vehicle next to us seemed like she was nearly in tears after what had happened. I don’t know the full situation, but I did personally hear the employee raising her voice and snapping. Hopefully it was all a misunderstanding.“

“So good. We were looking for a mom and pop ice cream shop and stumbled upon them. Tried the cheese ice cream and I was shocked at how good it was. So friendly. We loved everything we got.“

“The food is always good, and service is always fast. The reason for minus one star is because some of the staff is down right rude. When I was there a few days ago, the person taking my order didn't say a single word the entire time. Not even for the total.“

“Every time I go there's young teenagers always running around without parents they have their loud truck just ramming the motors up. Id rather take the drive to albertville then stay and be disrespected by these kids. Even some of the workers dont like it. And local police wont do nothing about it.“

“I don’t normally do reviews however seeing the review from earlier today really set me off. My family and I had an excellent experience. The food was fresh and hot and the employees were all friendly. The issue I’m having with the review CODY left is this. I was there before him and his family came in. The employees were cleaning before I even got there. They also weren’t using anything strong because it wasn’t even a strong smell. It just smelled clean. The part I don’t understand is, if they were cleaning before we all came in. Why on earth would you intentionally sit next to where they are cleaning and then complain about them cleaning. A lot of folks don’t wanna do anything now a days and that guy and girl were on the floor wiping under the tables and scrapping gum off to ensure us as customers have a clean place to eat. Why complain about people cleaning? Maybe it’s because he just likes to be dirty and can’t stand the smell of cleanliness. I personally don’t know. It also wasn’t right for him to be ugly to the two workers either. He chose to sit next to them knowing good and well they were cleaning. There was a whole other side of the restaurant they could have sat at but they didn’t. Sounds crazy to me. The girl even asked me if the smell was bothering me after he was ugly to her and I appreciated her trying to make sure it didn’t bother anyone else and it didn’t bother anyone else because there wasn’t a smell to complain about. Good job Dairy Queen for hiring some hard workers who care about cleanliness!“
