“Stopped for dinner last night. Best ribs I e ever had. Falling off the bone. The flavor of the rub was so good I barely touched the sauce. I did dip some ribs and some hush puppies in the hot sauce. That was great too. Brodie did a great job keeping drinks topped off and checking on us. Victoria was very friendly from the time we first walked in until it was time to leave. Met the owners as well. This Yankee says they are a phenomenal representation of true southern hospitality. PS get the pork rinds PSS. Peanut Butter Pie!!!“

“5 stars across the board. This was my favorite restaurant a few years ago but sadly, that changed for a while and food quality took a noise dive.
I'm happy to say that I took a chance today (3/24/26) and returned for lunch. WOW!!! The Effinas I knew and loved is back and just as delicious as ever!
In addition, the service was a high 5 Star thanks to Amanda who was incredible!
Overall I have ZERO complaints and tons of praise. I'm pleased to put Effinas in Anniston back on my list of go-to places for delicious food and top notch service. Thank you so much!!!“

“Top of the River could very well be the best catfish in the state of Alabama. I have been all over the state from Florence to Mobile and Top of the river stands alone when it comes to catfish. Everything on the menu it's delicious and the steak is one of a kind. I'd give it 8 Stars if I could.“

“We stopped at this spot on our way back home to GA. I will just say this is a place I’ll be coming back too just to enjoy some good BBQ. It’s cozy very small spot. The food is made to order. Portions are huge. You will not be disappointed.
Give them a try. I forgot to get pictures but this is the best BBQ Ive had in a long time.
Staff is great. Very friendly and willing.
Prices are totally worth it.“

“Our server the pretty black lady is the best server/cook ever this morning my husband and I had a big fight anyway I took the kids to waffle houses and our server was amazing she saved my life literally she sweet and outspoken and amazing personality she made the kids Mickey Mouse waffles and they were very happy she also cook my food as well she needs to be a manager or team leader her work ethic is amazing thank you for the hospitality to our chocolate drop“

“Perfectly cooked wings for a TV Saturday night football game. Delivery on time as provided from telephone order. Order still hot and ready for enjoying upon delivery. Great food and delivery service!!“

“My husband had an enjoyable dinner here. I got Oysters Rockefeller and shrimp quesadillias while he got the spicy shrimp appetizer with the southwest wrap. It was all very good. Service was friendly and excellent. The atmosphere was fun and lively.“

“We love Taco & Tequila is Alexandria, Al. The service is always great and this time I let them pick my food and the Tour of Mexico was fantastic! The Mexican street taco was phenomenal. Always recommend them to our friends!“
