“My first time trying this Great Mexican Restaurant, heard nothing but great things about this restaurant before going and trying out myself! “My husband and I frequent Cancun often even though we were very disappointed when they changed the menu. I loved the bacon wrapped shrimp that was on it and my daughter in law loved a burrito that was on it. The "new" menu is lacking...it's just like several other Mexican Restaurants in the area. We continue to go to support Daniel because we have known him since Baja otherwise we would just go to a Mexican Restaurant closer to us with basically the same menu. We really hope the powers that be consider bringing the original menu back from when Cancun first opened.“

“Mom and I stopped in about a hour before closing on a Monday night (11/11/24). We half expected poor or rushed service so they could close on time. But we were shocked that was not at all how we were treated. Nothing felt rushed. Everything was great!!! Caleb was a wonderful server, talkative and very friendly! I normally don’t leave reviews but I felt this experience needed to have positive attention. Buen trabajo y muchas gracias a todos!!! 🤗“

“The staff was very attentive and polite. Seemed very eager to take care of us. Our order was 100% correct and was given to me hot and fresh. Restaurant was nice and clean including the bathroom. Very happy to have this location as our local taco bell!“

“Great experience tonight! We had a larger group (6 adults & 4 children) our food was great and we didn’t have to wait long to get it. I wish I had gotten our servers name, he was so kind and extremely attentive and didn’t ever seem frustrated even with our kids.“

“There is just not a better Mexican restaurant than Los Mex. It has been in two other locations before this one and just kept growing because the food is SO GOOD. They learn you and know you when you come in the door. We have even been in Birmingham, run into employees and they greeted us!!! The Nachos are fantastic, but I always add pico on top for extra taste. Special Lunch No 1 is wonderful. Having lived all over the country, we always say LOS MEX is the BEST ever.“

“If you have food allergies this place will take it seriously and handle it with no issues. Alexandria took my order, did a glove change, and got fresh prep out of the fridge to give me so there was minimal cross contamination. Not many restaurants will take allergies serious, seeing is I’m in a current flare up from lunch yesterday with my family. Shoutout to Alexandria, people like you make eating at restaurants safe for people like me🫶🏻.“

“Always out of Baja blast, chalupas have been hard lately. But always friendly and fast. Hoping they can pull it back together soon because we love taco bell! Need to work on those chalupa shells though! Nowhere else has hard ones, they are almost too hard to eat.

“I had a issue in the drive through with some old heads trying to fight me, I told the old bozos to go find a job, but when I got done ordering, the staff heard me and empathize with me that I had to go through some people trying to threaten me. I had no problem paying, but they saw what happened and they put my meal out for free, great people.“

“Absolutely thrilled we picked this family owned AUTHENTIC Spanish restaurant! The Tostadas and Huaraches were FANTASTIC! Hand made corn tortillas and family recipe’s for Al Pastor. Definitely skip the chain restaurants for this true gem in Oxford, AL! OHHHHH…. And they do FANTASTIC MARGARITAS TOO!“
