“We ordered the feast. Everything was fantastic. My favorite was the crawfish bisque. Loaded with flavor and lots of crawfish. So glad to have something new come to Northport. Customer service was great as well. We will definitely be repeat customers!“

“Wow, wow, wow. When I asked the waiter, how long the restaurant had been there, I was almost mad at myself when he told me it has been in Birmingham eight years. Why didn’t I find this place sooner? I went with my sister and my brother-in-law for dinner, we felt like we were eating in the French quarter. It’s the best Cajun food I’ve had north of New Orleans. You must try the shrimp, poor boy, better yet get the surf and turf because the roast beef will blow your mind. My sister and I also had the gumbo, the hush puppies are Devine, succotash was really good, and oh my wonderful tastebuds, the muffaletta was something like you would have on Bourbon Street. If you like Cajun food, this place has great food and a fun environment with lots of outdoor seating. Dog friendly to boot! I highly recommend that you try this at least once if you live in Birmingham or are visiting.“

“Friendly staff. Clean area. Couldn't stop eating it getting to my destination. Fries are well seasoned and have crunch. Seasoned shrimp takes me back to Nawlins!!! Great food, only thing i would add is bigger hushpuppies and make your own tarter sauce with your skills for seasoning! Awesome!“

The food is absolutely amazing! they've got a beautiful waitress as well, she's always really kind and really sweet and really outgoing, very personable. she's very knowledgeable of the menu, always has a smile on her face and always makes you feel like your family when you come in. the prices are really great as well. there's nowhere else you can go to get an entree for $15.99, that's about average at location. you can't go to McDonald's for that. great food, great fun, great times, and I look forward each time that I go. I just got back today actually, I went to dinner there tonight. love it!“

“My family dined for lunch today for my Dad's 87th birthday. Our waitress was so sweet and did everything perfectly, including indulging us by taking a family photo. Our table had boudin balls and hushpuppies appetizers. Several of our table had The Shrimp platter and it was a ton of food that they all enjoyed. 3 of us had the Melvin's Chicken plate which is 2 thin chicken breasts and some conecca sausage on top of mashed potatoes with sautéed onions and bacon drizzled in a sweet balsamic glaze. It was wonderful. The birthday boy had fried crab claws and french fries and beignets for dessert. Thank you Cajun Steamer for a great family meal.“
