Ordered the j*** chicken lunch plate. It came with Carribbean style rice and peas and cabbage. A little spicier than I anticipated but pretty tasty over all. I could have done without all the chopped up bones throughout the meat though. Worrying about swallowing a piece of bone kind of takes away from the whole experience. Your source for j*** chicken and other Caribbean delights. As far as atmosphere and service go, there really is none. Just a basic dining area, and one guy who takes your money and hands your food to you. The guy isn't exactly rude, but I always have the feeling that if I screw up my order or say the wrong thing, he'll tell me to leave. Weirdly, it makes the place all the more charming. Awesome authentic Caribbean food .. The j*** chicken and oxtails ... OMG!! 1 of the best places in Birmingham .. I have been patronizing YahMan for over 3 or 4 years .. I have never been disappointed .. The service .. the food ... A++
