“This was my first time visiting this restaurant. The service was very friendly. We were seated right away and our order was taken in a timely manner for the size of the crowd. The food ordered came out hot and as quickly as could be expected. The time we waited was well worth it. The food was excellent! We will be back!Kid-friendliness: There were several choices for my grandchildren to choose from. ?”

“I went to Main Street anticipating that it would be pretty good. It was better than I expected. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was great! The food was better than I thought it would be. I was somewhat disappointed in the food options in Shelby County, but Main Street Tavern was really great all around. In fact, it is one of two places that is at the top of my list. I had a ribeye and it was fantastic, especially for the price!Parking: The parking in the lot is a bit small, but there is also parking on the street.Kid-friendliness: It might be ok for kids, but it is not the best place for kids. I do not recall there being a good outside area for kids.”

“Hands down best coffee shop in the south! I've been a d!e hard fan for over 4 years and I've recommended this place to my family, friends, in-laws, even strangers looking for coffee lol!! The coffee is always perfect and I've started letting the barista just surprise me because everything on the menu is delicious. It's cozy and relaxed, with indoor and outdoor seating. They offer a small shop of tea and coffee products and their lounge area always has fun little games. They also makes cakes! You can get it by the slice or whole and theyre huge! Oh, and they have crazy good sandwiches, hahaha it's never just a coffee run when we go to C's ♡♡♡”

“I was excited to try Slice after they won an award. We stopped for lunch on a lovely day and sat outside. It was confusing where we were supposed to go, since their name is on two buildings. The server was friendly and very busy, so we seated ourselves and she brought us menus after we had found the menu online.We ordered one basic salad, one margherita pie, and two slices - one pepperoni and one Old School (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, and red onions).The salad was fantastic. 5/5, would go back just for the salad.The slices and pizza were OK- 3.5/5 for me. The sauce was very sweet on the margherita and almost nonexistent on the pepperoni or Old School. They use cornmeal on the bottom of the crust, and there was a lot of cornmeal. Given how incredibly thin yet soft the crust was, the amount of cornmeal was detracting to me, both in flavor and texture.I would make a special trip for the salad but not for the pizza.”

“Visited friends on a farm in Montevallo and I went there the first time to a sign that they were sold out early in the day. The following day our host brought a massive load of the donuts variety as well as the bread filled with the hot dogs (can't think of their name right now). A family of 6 Germans and our host family indulged in them. So colorful, great quality, decorated with love. I thought that Krispy K were on top of my list, but these... literally took the cake. My only regret is that one of the kids snatched the last one with the blue icing before I did!! I will be back. Great job, perfect food. Many thanks and: Danke schoen, as we say in Germany!”

“The first time I was a student was in 1996, and I’m finally going to graduate in 2025. The Anna Irving dining hall is much more light and airy now than it was then. It was all dark wood panel. I was amazed at the quality of food and I actually look forward to eating there again.”

“I absolutely loved the ambiance as soon as I stepped in the door! I was greeted by Jason, who took great care of me the entire time! I started with a mixed green salad, accompanied by a lemon drop martini made to perfection. For my entree, I went with the shrimp linguine pasta. It was seasoned really well, and had plenty of sauce to go around! I look forward to returning for the dinner menu with my husband!”

“First time at this location. The menu is similar to the larger Calera location. Food was good and consistent across both places. The only difference we felt was that the rice was not as good here. It was a bit on the plain side. However, the overall prices seemed less for a very similar experience. Would recommend.”

“Small spot with some charm and a nice outdoor seating area. I love the decor and the atmosphere. It feels like a week kept family restaurant. Server was attentive and I ordered Queso Flamadeo and a taco lunch special. Food came out and looked good but "hot plate" was no understatement and I usually get wary. Tacos were pretty plain, the appetizer was good. Over all the tortillas with the exception of the chips could have been more fresh and same for the chopped veg and rice. Still ate my whole meal though and enjoyed the visit. At 4 stars I'd say worth a visit.”

“I was so apprehensive about going tonight as I've gotten crappy food on top of crappy service at this location a few times... but my kids were persistent on KFC?️But tonight? ? Not only was the food absolutely delicious and FRESH ?... the young man who took our order had probably the best customer service I've seen at a drive thru in years to be honest. “My absolute favorite of all the local Jack's. I usually drop in for lunch before work and it's always hot and yummy. The team is amazing, working like a well-oiled machine, meaning you get your food quick! Best part is the options they have! I always recommend their gravy and biscuits for breakfast, and the Big Jack for lunch or dinner.Parking: There are a few potholes in the parking lot, but mostly avoidable and the food is absolutely worth it!”

“I believe that was the best McDonald's I have had either ever or in a very long time. The fries were fresh with the perfect amount of salt. I had a bscon cheese quarter pounder, and I'm getting hungry typing this it was so good. It was cooked fresh, the bacon had a little crisp to it, the bun was fresh and was perfect with meat. You know how sometimes it'll be soggy or stale and hard. This one was just right. Beware, it does come with onion pieces. Not the chopped onions like on a couple of their other burgers. I paired my with frozen coke, bc duh. And it was an awesome drink. They are just small. Like even their large is small. It was great fast delivered food.”
