The dining room hostess was Vickie, and she was wonderful. She checked on us several times and gave is a free Bo Biscuit to try!

“We come to Metro Diner on Airport Road almost every Saturday. Partly because the food is amazing and they have a great selection. But since our first experience here, we always request to have Raven as our server. She is so friendly, attentive, fast, and positive! Raven makes our morning and she is definitely one of the best!”

“The acai bowl was absolutely amazing, loved and we will absolutely order again.The avocado toast was the saddest thing ever...literally toast smeared with the tiniest bit of avocado and drowned in Sriracha. Did not enjoy, and almost tempted to ask to return it. The service was amazing and everyone was very friendly, service was fast for the amount of customers. Cappuccino was spot on.”

“Good BBQ. I had the Carolina Chopped Pork plate for lunch with baked beans and potato salad. Both sides good. Overall good quality food at moderate cost - most plates in the $13-15 range. Sweet tea is Bama sweet. Also had an order of 6 of the cheese biscuits. These are served like mini-muffins and the do have a muffin taste. They are near addictive good but rather expensive at $6.99.
Ordering is done up front and drinks and seating are self served. Food is brought to your table. Our server was very attentive and made sure had what we ordered and we were satisfied with our food. Most seating is for 4 at booths, butcher block tables, or raised tables and stools. Overall atmosphere is upscale fast-food/casual, not at all like the restaurant I had visited few years ago in Fultondale. There is adequate parking but lot may be full at peak hours. By the end of our meal at 12:15, people had started parking on the road on East side of building.”

“Before arriving, I had said that it won't be legit unless it has Hawaiian Sun drinks...and they delivered! Katsu portions were so generous! Sauces were delish! I was nervous to try the deep fried spam musubi...but definitely will next time!! Will do the family meal next time to get a bit of everything!! Cashier was sweet and made recommendations and she also gave my baby boy his first lei!! 💙”

“I can’t say enough great things about Vujee Vegan! From start to finish, the experience was incredible. I ordered the V Mac sandwich, egg rolls, chili cheese fries, and a slice of chocolate cake, and every single bite was delicious. The V Mac blew me away – it had all the flavor and satisfaction of a classic comfort sandwich but completely plant-based. The egg rolls were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, a great starter to share (though you’ll want them all to yourself!). The chili cheese fries were next-level – hearty, savory, and seriously addictive. And to top it all off, the chocolate cake was rich, moist, and the perfect sweet ending to the meal. What I love most about Vujee Vegan is that the food isn’t just “good for vegan food” – it’s just great food, period. We came during a very slow time, so it sometimes took more time than usual to get drink refills, but otherwise the staff was very friendly and our server was very kind and got our food out in a timely manner. The first element that I always pay close attention to is the level of customer service that any establishment shows. Again, the customer service along with the great food will be my reasons to return. Tonight, I brought my family along for their first time experience. They were thoroughly impressed and they aren’t easily impressed. So, I ordered the highly recommended chocolate chip cookies to go. I’m super excited to try them later. My hats off to Pappos once more. Trust me, I only give compliments when they’re earned plus offer to anyone or any place my suggestions for improvement in a professional manner.
