“Bucky's Lounge at the Grand Hotel is a hidden gem! I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and it exceeded my expectations. My grilled chicken sandwich was a flavor explosion – perfectly cooked and packed with delicious ingredients. It was clear that they use high-quality ingredients and pay attention to detail.
My son, a self-proclaimed oyster connoisseur, declared the char-grilled oysters at Bucky's the best he's ever had! That's a serious compliment, and it speaks volumes about the quality and preparation.
But the food is only part of the experience. The view from Bucky's is absolutely breathtaking. Overlooking the hotel grounds and the bay, it's a truly spectacular setting. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning scenery.
If you're staying at the Grand Hotel, or even if you're just in the area, Bucky's Lounge is a must-visit. The delicious food, exceptional oysters, and incredible views make it a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it!“
“I had the pleasure of moving down the street from this place a few weeks ago. I’ve had a pool table at home most of my life…but, i sold it this time. Literally less than four weeks ago… they already know my name… like “Cheers” the bartenders remember what you order and when they see you waiting at the bar will go ahead and pull it. Professional musicians … great pool. What’s not to like?“

“The bar is small but attracts a good crowd. I enjoy the live music. I would say the bar is like 20x35 feet of room for the crowd and a small Hallway for the bath room. Can get crowded but usually has a good vibe for the most part. Worth trying to see if it fits your bar type at least once recommended for at least one visit on a slow night Sunday- Wednesday and at least once on Friday or Saturday to see if it fits your type of bar liking.“

“Been to Mobile multiple times & EVERY tim I've stopped into The Haberdasher & NOT been disappointed! Sergio has been my bartender every time, the drinks are great, food is amazing, community is friendly! By far the BEST place to hang out if visiting!“
“I went to this club on a Sunday night! I made it around 12 a.m. and it was packed!!! Ppl don't really dance much here, but it was still fun! They say you have to be 21 and over to get in. You can't bring your own alcohol?. You can also smoke in this club.“

“I recommend them for their drinks! The drinks are really good and worth the price you pay! The food on the other hand is usually good, but this specific visit I asked for no onions on my sandwich and they still put onions on it. I told the waiter that I said no onions and showed him where they had onions on it and he said oh OK and didn't come back to the table until 10 minutes later with some sauce I ordered. So I guess that just meant that my sandwich wasn't gonna get remade or anything, so I just picked out the onions, but it still smells like onions. Total bummer and waste of money at that point but I didn't wanna cause a scene. I'll say if you get your food check to make sure it's right because nothing was done for mine“
“Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, talented musicians. Great little hole-in-the-wall "local bar" vibe. Reminiscent of a cool N.O spot. Plenty of parking, but a bit difficult to get to - navigating through the streets with construction.“

“Ordered the short ribs with cheesy polenta and broccolinni. It was average. Actual short ribs had good flavor, but polenta was mixed with the gravy from the shortrib in an iron skillet and polenta was basically swimming in liquid gravy. Broccolinni was severely undercooked, not soft at all. Atmosphere is nice as the restaurant is in the Renaissance hotel. Went here to celebrate anniversary with my wife, and Hannah our server wasn't very good. 0 drink suggestions, 0 food suggestions, never offered dessert, we had to ask for it. It was obvious she didn't want to be there. She was more interested in doing her closing side work instead of being attentive. We expected a better experience for our anniversary dinner. We probably wouldn't ever return and I definitely wouldn't recommend. There are restaurants in the area with better food and more attentive service.“

“The food was phenomenal and the service was great! Our waitress was very friendly and helpful with questions about the menu! We loved the fusion of taco's and Asian food. I recommend the green curry taco's, the kung pao chicken taco's, and firecracker shrimp taco's!“

“Every aspect was excellent. Our server, Katelyn, was superb, professional, friendly and timely. Our food and beverages were served quickly and correctly. The two side salads were perfect. Our full rack of ribs, onion rings and mac & cheese casserole were delicious. We are returning soon! God bless Briquettes, the staff and God bless America!“

“First time ever eating at the restaurant. We parked and had a short walk. We were seated immediately, water pouring.. ice cold… menus were ready for us to look over.. waitress was like an ebony creole goddess… lol.. she was great. The waitress informed us about the specials which helped greatly making our choice. The food served at our table in no time was delicious. So much food we all asked for a to-go container. Ohhh and the way they bring out the check in paperback novels was a great idea. I personally would recommend this establishment, whether just a cozy couple’s date or like us a bigger party… they have the seating capacity and arrangements to accommodate. Parking lot available at 250 Government.. and a short stroll… enjoy !“

“What a joy to see this local favourite busy and buzzing on an early Sunday evening. If you haven't been in a while and the menu is expanding, with some old favs returning and some excellent new selections. The real baby back ribs are absolutely delicious. The miso salmon is new and a great fish selection. Great service made for an enjoyable dining experience.“

“Honestly, this place is so underrated. Quite possibly one of the better upscale lounges in Baldwin. Yes, I’ve seen the past negative reviews, but I suspect they were going through some internal changes, so I get it. But this place truly hit home for me. The food was significantly better than the old menu, and the drinks were simply amazing.“

“My wife and I had an impromptu date night last night at Southwood. It had to be one of the top 5 meals I've ever had! Murder Point Oysters followed by the Tomato & Mozzarella salad, leading into the Scallops and Cobia topped with Jumbo Lump Crab for entrees. Mind-blowing flavors and expression in each dish with impeccable presentation, topped off with precision table service. I can't say enough good things about Southwood! ♥️😎“
