“My wife and I had an impromptu date night last night at Southwood. It had to be one of the top 5 meals I've ever had! Murder Point Oysters followed by the Tomato & Mozzarella salad, leading into the Scallops and Cobia topped with Jumbo Lump Crab for entrees. Mind-blowing flavors and expression in each dish with impeccable presentation, topped off with precision table service. I can't say enough good things about Southwood! ♥️😎“

“Loved sitting out by the firepit. Watching the sun set with a glass.of wine. Be prepared to bring you card because it is rather pricy. We just ordered hors'd'oeuvres and shared.
Parking: Had to park across the street. Which was not a big deal. But watch crossing the street there.“

“Seven of us ate there. Had the duck tacos, fish of the day taco (red fish), chicken slider, shrimp tacos, and oyster French toast. All were great. Served hot.
Service was great.
It's on our list for our next trip to Fairhope.“
“I had the pleasure of moving down the street from this place a few weeks ago. I’ve had a pool table at home most of my life…but, i sold it this time. Literally less than four weeks ago… they already know my name… like “Cheers” the bartenders remember what you order and when they see you waiting at the bar will go ahead and pull it. Professional musicians … great pool. What’s not to like?“
“The bar is small but attracts a good crowd. I enjoy the live music. I would say the bar is like 20x35 feet of room for the crowd and a small Hallway for the bath room. Can get crowded but usually has a good vibe for the most part. Worth trying to see if it fits your bar type at least once recommended for at least one visit on a slow night Sunday- Wednesday and at least once on Friday or Saturday to see if it fits your type of bar liking.“

“I went to this club on a Sunday night! I made it around 12 a.m. and it was packed!!! Ppl don't really dance much here, but it was still fun! They say you have to be 21 and over to get in. You can't bring your own alcohol?. You can also smoke in this club.“

“I recommend them for their drinks! The drinks are really good and worth the price you pay! The food on the other hand is usually good, but this specific visit I asked for no onions on my sandwich and they still put onions on it. I told the waiter that I said no onions and showed him where they had onions on it and he said oh OK and didn't come back to the table until 10 minutes later with some sauce I ordered. So I guess that just meant that my sandwich wasn't gonna get remade or anything, so I just picked out the onions, but it still smells like onions. Total bummer and waste of money at that point but I didn't wanna cause a scene. I'll say if you get your food check to make sure it's right because nothing was done for mine“

“We had an wonderful dinner at the Trellis Room. The service was outstanding and the food was so delicious and beautifully plated, we loved it! We had the whole branzino fish and the beef tenderloin, both dishes were great! We can't wait to go back and bring some family or friends. This is truly a hidden gem in a historic hotel with a stunning dinning room. Make a Rez and go! You will like it.“

“Every aspect was excellent. Our server, Katelyn, was superb, professional, friendly and timely. Our food and beverages were served quickly and correctly. The two side salads were perfect. “Honestly, this place is so underrated. Quite possibly one of the better upscale lounges in Baldwin. Yes, I’ve seen the past negative reviews, but I suspect they were going through some internal changes, so I get it. But this place truly hit home for me. The food was significantly better than the old menu, and the drinks were simply amazing.“

“We had another great dinner at California Dreaming. We ordered the hibiscus margarita and shrimp tacos, both were delicious. The margarita was just right - not too sweet. The shrimp tacos were battered and fried with a jicama slaw. We also ordered the baked potato soup that had nice chucks of potato with bacon and cheese added right before it was served. The wait staff are amazing and made our dinner fun. Cheers to our next visit!“
