“Bucky's Lounge at the Grand Hotel is a hidden gem! I recently had the pleasure of dining there, and it exceeded my expectations. My grilled chicken sandwich was a flavor explosion – perfectly cooked and packed with delicious ingredients. It was clear that they use high-quality ingredients and pay attention to detail.
My son, a self-proclaimed oyster connoisseur, declared the char-grilled oysters at Bucky's the best he's ever had! That's a serious compliment, and it speaks volumes about the quality and preparation.
But the food is only part of the experience. The view from Bucky's is absolutely breathtaking. Overlooking the hotel grounds and the bay, it's a truly spectacular setting. It's the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal while taking in the stunning scenery.
If you're staying at the Grand Hotel, or even if you're just in the area, Bucky's Lounge is a must-visit. The delicious food, exceptional oysters, and incredible views make it a truly memorable dining experience. I highly recommend it!“

“I had the pleasure of moving down the street from this place a few weeks ago. I’ve had a pool table at home most of my life…but, i sold it this time. Literally less than four weeks ago… they already know my name… like “Cheers” the bartenders remember what you order and when they see you waiting at the bar will go ahead and pull it. Professional musicians … great pool. What’s not to like?“

“The food is so unique, you’ll never make a bad choice no matter what you order. Been here many times and have ordered nearly the whole menu over that time. All of the tacos are great… you can’t go wrong with any of them. All of the ramen and rice bowls are fantastic. The chef and owners here have an amazing vision that definitely works!“

“The bar is small but attracts a good crowd. I enjoy the live music. I would say the bar is like 20x35 feet of room for the crowd and a small Hallway for the bath room. Can get crowded but usually has a good vibe for the most part. Worth trying to see if it fits your bar type at least once recommended for at least one visit on a slow night Sunday- Wednesday and at least once on Friday or Saturday to see if it fits your type of bar liking.“

“I recommend them for their drinks! The drinks are really good and worth the price you pay! The food on the other hand is usually good, but this specific visit I asked for no onions on my sandwich and they still put onions on it. I told the waiter that I said no onions and showed him where they had onions on it and he said oh OK and didn't come back to the table until 10 minutes later with some sauce I ordered. So I guess that just meant that my sandwich wasn't gonna get remade or anything, so I just picked out the onions, but it still smells like onions. Total bummer and waste of money at that point but I didn't wanna cause a scene. I'll say if you get your food check to make sure it's right because nothing was done for mine“
“Fun atmosphere, friendly staff, talented musicians. Great little hole-in-the-wall "local bar" vibe. Reminiscent of a cool N.O spot. Plenty of parking, but a bit difficult to get to - navigating through the streets with construction.“

“We took the Amtrak Mardi Gras from New Orleans to Mobile for a quick weekend trip. We stayed at The Battle House Hotel and ate Saturday night at the The Trellis Room. From the moment we sat down the service, cocktails, and food were fabulous. The ambiance was very romantic, however there were groups or friends, families, as well as couples in there when we ate. We had the mussels and the pork belly for appetizers. The pork belly was amazing. For dinner I had the Wild Mushroom Alfredo Tagliatelle. It was rich and creamy and the mushrooms were perfect. They asked if I wanted to add a protein but I declined. I'm not sure if it would have made it better. My husband had the Grilled Beef Tenderloin Filets. It was cooked perfectly and the vegetables that came with it were so good. His old fashions were really good and my dirty martini was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant.“
“I went to this club on a Sunday night! I made it around 12 a.m. and it was packed!!! Ppl don't really dance much here, but it was still fun! They say you have to be 21 and over to get in. You can't bring your own alcohol?. You can also smoke in this club.“

“Honestly, this place is so underrated. Quite possibly one of the better upscale lounges in Baldwin. Yes, I’ve seen the past negative reviews, but I suspect they were going through some internal changes, so I get it. But this place truly hit home for me. The food was significantly better than the old menu, and the drinks were simply amazing.“

“Every aspect was excellent. Our server, Katelyn, was superb, professional, friendly and timely. Our food and beverages were served quickly and correctly. The two side salads were perfect. “My wife and I had an impromptu date night last night at Southwood. It had to be one of the top 5 meals I've ever had! Murder Point Oysters followed by the Tomato & Mozzarella salad, leading into the Scallops and Cobia topped with Jumbo Lump Crab for entrees. Mind-blowing flavors and expression in each dish with impeccable presentation, topped off with precision table service. I can't say enough good things about Southwood! ♥️😎“
