“One of, if not THE the best Al Pastor tacos I've ever had. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. Tortillas seem hand made.

One of the most disappointing Carne Asada tacos I've ever had. Every bite contained hard, inedible cartilage and stringy fat. It was as if this taco was made from unusable trimmings.

Rojo and Verde Tamales were delicious. Moist, flavorful, and a perfect amount of heat.

Service was good!

I would absolutely go back, I just can't recommend the steak tacos based on my experience.“

“Everything I had here was amazing! The queso blanco dip was very good, not runny or watery like some places. The chips were warm, crunchy and homemade. I loved that they bring you a pitcher of water so you can refill your own drinks. And speaking of drinks the bartender made our margaritas perfectly (I got the strawberry, very yummy) and I also got a drink that came with a rubber ducky that squeaks...super cute! The Chile Relleno plate was great, the portion size was pretty big. Our waitress was really kind and helpful, but sadly I didn't catch her name. Definitely give this place a shot if you want something that is a little different from your typical Tex-Mex place around here, they have a little of everything. : )“

“We have ate there several times and was very pleased up until tonight. We called in an order to pickup and when we got there she said they didn't have our order. Didn't even offer to take the order again.. Not very good customer service this time.“

“Blue Coast is one of my favorites and now I'm considering not ordering here again. My husband and I went in and ordered to-go and initially had a very good experience. We ordered the 3 tacos, burrito bowl, and a pint of queso. We then went down to Veterens park to eat by the water to discover our Queso was not there, so we packed up and went back. Expecting to not have any issues, I went in to politely let them know we didn't get our queso, and the gentleman proceeded to insinuate I was a liar. Was rude, and told me that it was in there, that it was sitting right there in a brown bag. well I said it must have ended up in someone else's bag and he rolls his eyes and says um no there wasn't anyone else here. Sir, yes there was..a gentleman ordering right behind me. I was just blown away that he would sit and tell me that I'm lying. I informed him that I paid 10 plus tax for this queso and was not leaving without it, to which he finally hesitantly and rudely gave me the queso, that I PAID FOR!! I understand that restaurants I'm sure have issues with people trying to get free food, but still this was uncalled for and honestly offensive. it will be a long time before we consider returning to this location. Do better!!! Also, we left them a tip too. Pleased with our service. In no way should I have been treated like a liar and gotten such rude service in returning for what we rightly paid for.“

“Such a cool spot to go eat! Probably one of the better Mexican restaurants in the Shoals with high quality flavors! I had the Bongo dip which was really good but I'd of preferred it to be spicy still really good, it had ground beef, onions, peppers and cilantro mixed in with their cheese dip. For my lunch plate I've heard about how good the Bongo platter is so I had to get it and was not disappointed all this food on a platter for only $13.99 is crazy cheap! It had chicken and shrimp nachos, a birria quesadilla, chicken taquito a beef flauta and in the center a black bean and queso dip! It was so so good and definitely enough for two people for dinner! Their chicken is the best chicken I've had and all the Mexican restaurants around. I highly recommend going. Will be back for the Birria Ramen!“

“I don't know what my husband ordered but it was like a quesadilla on steroids! It had chicken and steak, beef, cheese and deliciousness with all kinds of different sauces to go with it. I had the enchiladas Verdes and they were amazing. The best food and great prices and we are stuffed with leftovers enough for the meals. Add in friendly staff and you have a guaranteed winner 🏆“

She never asked any questions or didn't say we can't don't thisShe just did it and was polite about doing it. I didn't tell her it was for my little chi.
