El Coyote Mexican Restaurant is a hidden gem in Jackson County, Alabama, serving authentic Mexican cuisine that exceeds expectations. The owners are actively involved, ensuring excellent service and a distinctly Mexicana decor. The food is closer to authentic Mexican fare, unlike typical Ameri-Mex. With friendly staff and great food, El Coyote has become a local favorite known for its delicious margaritas. Customers feel a sense of comfort as if visiting family, thanks to the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The restaurant is known for large servings at a fair price, making it a must-visit for Mexican food lovers. Whether it’s for a quick lunch, a relaxed dinner date, or a celebration, El Coyote consistently impresses diners with its delightful meals, like the shrimp chimichangas filled with tender shrimp, tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions, all wrapped in a crispy tortilla. It always delivers an enjoyable experience, making it a go-to spot for many.
