Han'ei Kaya Sushi Grill offers great atmosphere and service. The vibe is liked, and the service is awesome. A server suggested a Green Jacket roll, with tuna substituted for salmon, enjoyed with a happy hour appetizer and beverage. Gyoza with red curry sauce was SO GOOD, and the Surprise Roll was incredible and HUGE. The Surprise Roll was amazing and displayed wonderfully, enough to feed two people along with the Gyoza as an appetizer. The restaurant is very inclusive. The quality of sushi sets the bar high for any other sushi spot, and for $28 the quality puts to shame every sushi joint near Birmingham. The sushi and Gyoza were spectacular, with flavors working super well together. There was so much high quality fish in each roll, and nigiri were amazing. The best place in Bham for sushi for sure. Highly suggested to drop in and enjoy some of the specialties.
