“A friend brought me here shortly after moving to the area, and I keep coming back because of the unique Disgraceland burger, with peanut butter and jelly, and an egg, and bacon, on a normal burger. An odd combo that I surprisingly like! Some unique Sunday brunch options I'm starting to try out too. My only complaint is the music can be very loud, but then, it is a bar, and there's a reason (music for one) I normally avoid them. The food makes an exception in this case!“
“First time coming here to meet some friends and visit. The place was nicely decorated with a sports theme. Plenary of TVs to watch various events. The food came out relatively quick and was very good. My only issue was during the 2 1/2 hours we sat there visiting the waitress never once offered to refill our drinks or waters. Yes, that’s a little thing, and could have just been a small oversight. The place was not crowded and that small thing played a big part in this review. I do not think it is a reflection of Billy’s, but was a small issue that left a negative view from my opinion. I challenge you to try them for yourself.“
“So my experience, this was the first time I've ever been to this place, but it will not be the last time!I was greeted outside by a guy that worked there and I'm going to go ahead and apologize to both the guy that said something to me that worked there and then also to the girl she was a bartender and both of those people were to the nicest people that have ever gotten to meet and I'm not talking about you know they're the nicest people like I know him personally, I'm saying the way that they introduce themselves in the way that they went beyond kindness for a complete stranger that they hadn't talked to for 3 minutes total, but when I pulled in I couldn't get it out of the car before he was saying hello and how was I doing... I thought he was just a patron, come to find out the guy worked there.. no I'm not saying they've got somebody stationed outside to do that but he was outside and since he was outside he was still an employee outside... You greet people when they walk in the door but if you're outside he greeted me outside I couldn't get out of the car quick enough!He asked me if I've ever been there and he said that it was an amazing place and he enjoyed it there and I mean he started talking to me and encouraging me to get things and to look around.. I was just kind of blown Away at first because I thought well maybe he was just happened to be outside and maybe he does that to everybody I don't know, but the very first impression I got was I kind of wanted to be there because I didn't feel like a guy just walking into a bar I felt like hey this is going to be a good experience!Then I got to meet the bartender, apologies for not being able to remember her name either I've never met these folks and I wasn't there you know 15 minutes so, I apologize for not knowing their name but, I was talking to them and they stopped what they were doing, stopped cleaning.. you don't normally bartenders will talk cuz they're doing other things and that's how you get stuff done however, they stopped what they were doing to walk over to me and listen to me and now what I was saying wasn't anything important or anything of value, I was just talking! however they made it a priority to listen. This was one of the greatest experience I had walking into a place that I've never walked into before seeing people I've never seen before and just automatically feeling like that's my spot.So whoever the owner is of this place, kudos to you because that was a bunch of positive in a world full of negative and I walk into bars all the time and it's not that they do anything wrong but you just you're another customer, not here, not here definitely! Because at this place, the hangar bar and grill, you're more than a number you're more than a customer you're more than money, here you walk in maybe feeling one way but I can guarantee you how you'll feel when you walk out. “Our new local favorite. We have always talked about visiting it but didn't know if it was one of those places where you'd feel awkward not being a regular. We were dead wrong. Service is fantastic. The food is fantastic. The people we've interacted with are friendly and you can tell why people come back regularly. A nice outdoor seating area. Activities most nights. It does allow smoking indoors, depending on who you ask that's good or bad. Great drink selections of draft, cans/bottles and the bartenders are all extremely capable to mix up any drink or shot you'd like!“

“Summary:10/10Breakdown:Food- I am vegetarian, date is not.I ordered fried green tomatoes (appetizer), Fries(side), vegan bbq with slaw. Date had wings (appetizer) with chicken tenders (meal) and fries (side).Slaw has a vinegar base so sweet with a kick and very crunchy. Absolutely fabulous and a wake up from the boring creamy slaws. Sandwich had a meaty texture and the sauce was the right combo of sweet and bitter if that makes sense with a hint of spice. Fries were really good with a crunchy shell and soft inner shell like absolutely perfect. Green tomatoes were on point, just the right of tang with a little crunch but not overpowering. Whatever corn salsa they put on top was absolutely perfect.Meat eater enjoyed wings (appetizer). Maple flavored sweet heat, very much enjoyed. Chicken fingers with same sauce because it was so very good.Drinks- 41st Street Tea (I think that's the name) was absolutely good with a hint of mint. The blackberry smoke was so good I ordered two to make sure I wasn't imagining how good it was. “DJ Phase II was EVERYTHING!!!!!! It was not a big crowd on our last night in Birmingham but the DJ was so good we couldn't leave. The drinks were good also. The only down fall was that the bartender prices kept changing evertime we ordered a drink. Other than that this place is a great for a mature crowd Nd great music.“
