“I ordered Baba Ghanouj as an appetizer with the Lamb Kabob for takeout. The lamb was cooked and seasoned to perfection. The food was packaged with care. I was pleasantly surprised that besides the excellent salad, I also had fruits as sides in my container. I am so happy to have such a delicious and balanced meal for dinner. “The service today was great and the meal was good - that said they have done away with the Fabulous Bread Sticks and replaced it with some sub par bread that isn't good at all. The salad and bread was a main part to why we enjoyed going so unless they go back to the good bread we may have to try something else. SAD DAY this has been one of our go to favorites for over 20 years. 🙁“

“I love wings plus. Out of all of the Wings joints I've been to Wings Plus in Bluff Park tops them all. I have never had anything less than freshly made delicious food and I don't just order wings. The place is always neat. I know restaurants were hit hard by the pandemic and have a hard time finding people to work. I've never been treated anything less than respectful and kind. The guys in there are great“

“Had seen Cava all over the place and finally tried it out. What a great Mediterranean upscale fast food place! Ordered takeout for a late lunch on a Saturday afternoon. Soonest pickup option was 15 minutes, and it was ready to pick up when we arrived righ on time. Nice airy dining room at this location and a lovely patio, too.

Ordered a Steak + Harissa Bowl (w/ free pita) and a Spicy Chicken + Avocado pita wrap. They were both great! Good flavor in all the seasonings, tender steak, plenty of avocado on the wrap. Pitas were thick and good quality. A little pricy, but you do get a fair amount. Looking forward to trying their specialty drinks next time!“

“We're not huge fans of Greek food, but we tried Tasty Town, mainly for convenience. We had planned a very packed day of sight-seeing in Birmingham on a Saturday. It seemed that hardly any eatery would be open and there wasn't time allowance to drive out of the downtown area, without being late for the next activity. Thus, we settled on a mid-afternoon lunch/dinner at Tasty Town. Honestly, both of us thought it was better than we had anticipated and the service and location were top notch. Thanks, Tasty Town! “WOW, was this great! Just traveling through and in town for a week, saw this place and thought we'd check it out. I had the sampler platter and my mom had the shrimp kabobs. Everything was amazing!! With the exception of gyros and baklava, I haven't had much Mediterranean food... I'm not even sure what was what on that sampler lol. Separately, it was yummy, but then I started putting bites together and dang near polished the whole thing off myself because it was so deliciousI couldn't stop. Plus, that baklava was to die for! I've had a lot of baklava in my 43 years, but that was the best I ever ate by a long shot.

And the staff was so pleasant and helpful too! If I ever find myself back in town, we'll definitely return.“
