it was ok. nothing to write home about.
Always had great food here! I hate that Gibson's is officially closed after all these years, however I hope Grace Lutheran is able to make good use of the property. Loved the Brunswick stew!!
Parking: Don't think I usually had too much trouble with parking.
Due ta a fire last year, Gibson's is still closed. Hopefully they will reopen but it's beginning to look like they may not.
Gibson's Bar-B-Q is a beloved restaurant that serves great Southern BBQ. The menu features favorites like the quarter chicken plate with hushpuppies, French fries, and green beans, as well as Brunswick stew. The catfish is outstanding and possibly the best in town, and the ribs are usually good. While the dining room could use an update, the food is consistently delicious, including the coconut pie for dessert. Service can be reasonably fast, but the wait staff can be unfriendly at times.
