“Review of Walk Ons:I recently visited Walk Ons and had an exceptional experience. The jumbo sweet chili wings and waffle fries were fried to perfection, offering a delightful crunch with every bite. The old-fashioned cocktail was expertly crafted, hitting the right balance of flavors. However, the highlight of the meal was the dessert - the cookie sundae. A warm, gooey white chocolate macadamia nut cookie topped with creamy vanilla ice cream and whipped cream made for a decadent treat that left me craving more.Beyond the culinary delights, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring a seamless dining experience. The atmosphere was inviting and lively, adding to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Walk Ons truly delivers on both food quality and ambiance, making it a must-visit for anyone seeking a memorable dining experience.“
“Been to Pier 88 at least a dozen times and the food is always good, but Ken escalated our experience tonight! He filled our glasses from our pitcher when he checked on us (which was frequently enough to take care of us, but not overwhelming). He dumped our boil and bagged our to-go. Great experience and we will definitely be back to see Ken!“
“I can't say enough good about this place. I've eaten in and taken out. The owners seem like lovely people, the atmosphere is friendly, and the food is unbelievable. It's one of the only dining experience I've had where every new thing I ate was better than the last.“
“staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is exceptional. I have had several different things from the menu and it was all good. Had the rib eye the last time I was here and it had a delicious smoked flavor. plan on having it again with a side of shrimp. the atmosphere is relaxed. I enjoy the music especially when PeterK and Conbrio play. Love the Latin funk fusion sound“
“I am generally not one to eat at gas stations. I have nothing against them, it is just that they aren't part of my normal pattern for eating. New Orleans Lunchbox is the only one to get into my lunch rotation list. And I am told everything is good there, but I have never gotten past the Jambalaya. The first time I went I bought a quart because I was in a hurry and have never gotten past it on the menu because it is so good. It is thick with a variety of meats and some heat that gives it a little kick without any tears or need for buttermilk to sooth the burn. These people make a tasty mix for Jambalaya. It is at Holmes and Jordan which is easy access from Redstone or Research park and they do have some seating, but I always get mine to go and eat it on teleconferences. Great stuff. Great people. Definitely worth the stop.“
“My son and I enjoyed lunch at Cap't Loui. We were welcomed by Tommie, as soon as we entered. He was also our server. All of the lunch specials were presented. I had the fried shrimp lunch and my son had the calamari po' boy. The food was delicious and plentiful. The fries were cooked to perfection. My son said the tap water tasted terrible. Other than that, we would visit again, if we were in the area.“
