“I recommend their food. The restaurant is always clean and the people wonderful, but the food is very good. It is always fresh, flavorful and beautiful. Being gluten free it can be difficult to find a safe place to eat. They understand how to prepare my food without risk (reasonably) of cross contamination and the quality or speed of getting my meal has never suffered. It is an excellent place to eat.“

“I never got a chance to try The Veggie at Lowe Mill - I lived down the street for years but somehow missed them. I did try them in their Madison location. It's a tiny restaurant with a few tables, and I got the vibe that it's more popular for takeout and delivery. I got a steak bowl and it tasted great - I loved the chimichurri! Their garlic hummus was yummy too. The Beyond "steak" was really an amazing dupe for actual steak. I definitely ate too much but I was just excited to be able to go into a restaurant and just order right off the menu without worrying too much about the contents. They have a variety of soy free and gluten free options, which is lovely. I'm puzzled by the amount of people complaining that the food is unhealthy and fried...why order something fried if you're going to complain about eating fried food? They have a lot of variety on the menu. It's a vegan restaurant that has alternatives to non-vegan foods, it's not a health food store. If I want to eat super healthy I just eat at home. Adding it to my monthly rotation when I just can't deal with cooking/want to splurge and eat out!“

“I went in on my son's 11th birthday and our server went above and beyond to make the experience memorable for my son. The food was delicious and the service was great. I can't remember the name of the tall gentleman that served us but he was stellar. We went in on April 29th at around 11: 30am, hopefully he can be identified and be commended for his great work.“
