Ran to get the kids a biscuit this morning..... sit in line waiting to order for TWENTY MINUTES no exaggeration....finally get to the speaker and after another 5 min the lady takes my order ....repeats it wrong...takes it again...repeats it wrong...takes it again..tells me to pull around then opens the window and TELLS ME THEY ARE CLOSED !!!! Timmy is late for the bus I'm gonna be late for work and there is still a line out of the parking lot into the road with other people who I'm sure are trying to eat before work. Why not say we're closed instead of taking orders????? I understand short staffed blah blah whatever but that's pure bs! I thought that they were only taking orders one car at a time because of staffing but they were purposely doing this! 4 cars ahead of me were done the same way! this happened at 6am this morning ...they open at 5”

“The service here is amazing! I recently ordered the chicken hibachi with extra veggies and yum yum sauce to go. I didn’t check the food before I left and when I got home they gave me extra noodles instead of veggies. I messaged them on Facebook to let them know of the mistake and they offered to remake my order for free at my convenience! I went and picked up the remade order a week later and they even gave me the extra yum yum sauce and apologized again when I picked up the food. Great customer service and the food is amazing 🤤 Will definitely be back with family and friends!”

We came in and had the bologna sandwich and the shrimp salad, and both were absolutely outstanding. The bologna sandwich was piled high, grilled just right, and hit every nostalgic note you could hope for. The shrimp salad was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. On top of that, the soup of the day was rich and comforting—true scratch-made goodness that you don’t find just anywhere. Even the sweet tea, served in a mason jar, felt right at home here.

But WT’s isn’t just about the food. It’s about the people. Meeting Wanda and Patti was an absolute highlight—they welcomed us like family, and that warmth is exactly why so many people keep coming back year after year. “Harry and Billy's is a great place to have drinks or come sing karaoke . Ms. Darlene ( aka mama) is the best bartender in Bessemer in my opinion. Drink prices are good .pool tables with tourneys are held here a few days a week. They have game night on Tuesday I believe. Trading paint was filmed here . Everyone is welcome.( just be nice.) Food is NOT served here you are welcome to order to here or bring your own.”
