I appreciate that when I ordered a flat white I was not asked what size I wanted because a flat white should only be one size!
I love the employees, I love the atmosphere.

Treating fresh local ingredients so well and not over complicating the plate is a rare thing. Most chefs try to show you how "cheffy" they are. Get the Carolina Gold Rice with the Blue Crab. It's the perfect dish. Fresh Crab, the rice is perfection and would make southern food enthusiasts like Sean Brock ask for seconds. We'll done!“

“got the pulled pork sandwich. meat had ZERO flavor and was as dry as boomer humor. the seasoning sauce was water scared with garlic powder. potato salad was disrespectfully disgusting. banana pudding was watery and the bananas were black. green beans were dumped from a can and had less seasoning than printer paper. Mac and cheese was essentially just pasta in a cheese water sauce and the atrocity of what they dare to call sweet tea was an insult to all southerners. get a better staff too. they carried a conversation and it was quite clear they wanted to keep talking when I was approaching. the lady at the pickup register talked over me and was obviously annoyed to be at work.“

A large portion of Gouda grits with two poached eggs, surrounded by perfectly cooked steak with chimichurri sauce. I even recommended it to another table on my way out. I had Christin as my waitress and she was absolutely delightful. Christian, Michelle and Madison were also working today and were so sweet! I’ll definitely be back soon and would recommend brunch or date night to anyone looking for a hip atmosphere with great personality. 10/10“

“The bar is small but attracts a good crowd. I enjoy the live music. I would say the bar is like 20x35 feet of room for the crowd and a small Hallway for the bath room. Can get crowded but usually has a good vibe for the most part. Worth trying to see if it fits your bar type at least once recommended for at least one visit on a slow night Sunday- Wednesday and at least once on Friday or Saturday to see if it fits your type of bar liking.“

We saw the special for the chicken bacon ranch pizza, and the 1 topping with a side. She explained to us that we could get any specialty pizza with the 1 topping so we got pineapple. It was so good! She brought everything to our table, even went and got a pizza cutter for us to make sure we could get the slices off because we were struggling. She was fantastic, kind, helpful, willing to do whatever was necessary to make sure we had a great family lunch. “I recently ordered from a food delivery app. Aztecas had the food ready quickly, and the driver picked it up, but never brought it to my house. The food delivery service created a new order for me, then canceled it too. But they did not cancel with the restaurant. The Assistant Manager at Aztecas knew all the trouble I was going thru, and personally delivered the order himself. TO MY HOUSE!! I have NEVER experienced this level of customer service. And the food was delicious. I have been going to this restaurant for years and highly recommend it for great food and great service!!“

“We dined for lunch at the Schillinger Road, South location and we're totally amazed by the quality of food and service! Our server, Maliga and the manager were so gracious and the most attentive and efficient service we have experienced anywhere in Mobile. The quality of beef in my ala carte order was like a homecooked pot roast...no fat ..no mystery. The tamales are wonderful and have a special sauce. The ground beef in the tacos is the finest quality and seasoned wonderfully. The margarita had only 2 percent alcohol in it, and the glasses for that drink are the wrong kind. But the most important is the impeccable food and service. I could enjoy their "refried" beans because they start with beans and do not add lard to it! The entrance to the restaurant on Schillinger is hard to find at first, but inside is wonderful and authentic The very best Mexican restaurant this side of San Antonio, and they are family-owned.“
