They are so slow, Steak burgers were not fixed correctly, french Fry's were lukewarm. The cook was hustling, but not the woman putting hamburgers together. Won't go back there.
Steak and Shake used to be a favorite place for me, the quality of food and service has diminished in the past 20 years. It used to be like a great little Cafe but it has now gone by the way of mediocre fast food chain with little to no drive for excellence.

Everything was better here than chills but I don't agree with the waitress get only $2 an hour most people can't afford to pay $22 for two to eat and leave a nice tip it's not far to much is put on them and the lady that served us was all smiles and so sweet I wished I could had left her more than $4 $2 an hour is a slap in the face to deal with people n be nice at all she went out of her way to be so incredibly and how could I for get the onion rings was perfect but expensive...read full review
