“The food was really good. I had a steak, and it was cooked to perfection to be well done. My fried tomatoes were good, but could have used a bit of seasoning. Overall, the dine in experience was great. There were 16 of us and the workers made sure everything was a good experience. My only issue is the tip being added on my bill. I prefer tipping my waiter/waitress because I don't want him/her to have to split it with others when they've worked their ssa off to get it and it's usually more than what the gratuity is averaged out to be on the bill.“
“Absolutely amazing! Great food! Great customer service! Amy was so sweet and patient. My sister and I like to challenge bartenders to make drinks out of the ordinary and the Amy rose to the challenge. We ordered the Buffalo chicken dip. It was delicious with the house made pita chips. 10/10 Definitely going again.“
“My dad grew up eating at Mel’s.. and it was always the first stop he made when we came to town to visit, or just passing through. He’s gone now.. but now as an adult, I continue the tradition with my own children whenever I’m in town.. Always a steak sandwich & fries with a sweet tea.. although after taking a bite of my boyfriend’s shrimp po boy today, I might have to order both next time ??.“
