I ordered nachos, I was brought wings… after letting my waitress know that I didn’t order that she came back to tell me that they no longer had nachos & if I wanted the wings instead. I have never encountered this type of service. & honestly, food choices are terrible, nachos but you cannot add a protein. Such a pretty place but I don’t understand why this place is still open. I truly hope they fix their service and kitchen issues. This is a beautiful space worthy of much better service. Seating confusion. Poor service-long periods before you are assisted, errors when orders are brought out. Staff unfamiliar with menu and selections. Food extremely delayed.
Again hope the issues are fixed. They are messing out on what could be a highlight of the Montgomery dining experience.
The service needs improvement! I get better service at the Waffle House. It took about 15 minutes to get our drinks and almost 30 minutes to get our food. When we got our food it was lukewarm. Waterworks Rooftop Restaurant and Bar offers a relaxing atmosphere in Montgomery with a great outdoor setting and fantastic rooftop views. The menu features dishes like the Margherita Pizza and steak bites, which have received high praise. Customers also enjoy the creative cocktails and classic drinks, such as the Watermelon Crush and Montgomery Mule, along with a selection of craft beers and wines. The small bites, including shrimp tacos and a charcuterie board, are perfect for sharing while sipping on drinks. For those seeking a more substantial meal, the entrees, especially the steak, are cooked to perfection and are highly recommended.
While the food quality is generally good, some guests have experienced long waits, sometimes over an hour, to receive drinks or have orders taken. Service can be inconsistent; some reviews mention that staff members, like Oliver, go above and beyond, but others note that the restaurant can be short-staffed and slow, with no hostess available. Customers have also experienced issues like being told items are out of stock after ordering, which can be frustrating if not mentioned earlier. Parking can be a challenge on busy nights, sometimes requiring a walk of several blocks. Despite these issues, many guests appreciate the overall atmosphere, views, and food offerings, making it a popular choice for visitors.
