“I recently visited Mad Pies to celebrate a birthday party. It was at dinner time so I ordered a veggie pizza for me & my son which was gluten free & my wife ordered a ribeye steak to share with our daughter. The pizza was by far the best crust & pizza I have had. Absolutely amazing. My wife loved the steak wants to go back. Even my adult son & little girl want to return. This is a bar atmosphere but with food that you would expect at a nice restaurant. Staff were very friendly. The more customers the more staff would be needed. I highly reccomend anyone to visit for the food. If you like karaoke, Thursday night is your night! Restaurant prices with great quality.“

“Ordered my food it was here in under 45 mins. That should be normal but there was 1 driver. He had an order to drop off before mine and still made it to me 30 mins after I ordered my pizza. The poor guy was so stressed out being the only driver on a Saturday night and was aggravated but still made sure to give me the right stuff and check the address. Thank you to Steven“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I’m only giving this place 5 stars because of how amazing Crystal (I hope I spelled that right) and the evening shift are every time we come. Her customer service and communication are always immaculate 10/10 every visit! I wish I could say the same for the manager who’s there mid-day. She always has an attitude, is constantly on her phone, and comes across as extremely rude. Honestly, I’d give this place negative 100 stars just for her. However, Crystal is wonderful, and I’d rather my review highlight the positive manager than the negative! When I mentioned writing a review in the car on the way home, my 9-year-old son said, “Make sure you write that even the kids love Ms. Crystal!” so that’s exactly what I’m doing!“

“Unfortunately I have to change my previous review. I ordered two pizzas tonight both are extremely dry. I had extra cheese on both of them too. As you can see none at all so upsetting. I have came here for pizza for years. I have always had a great experience every time. Except for the last year or so. They been very inconsistent on quality for sure. Hopefully in the future it gets better and I can change this review

“Wow, I think this is the best Papa John’s I have been to all around Birmingham. I ordered a large pizza and to papa-dillas today. Both were really fresh tasting, fresh ingredients, perfect temperature, tasted wonderful. I was starting to lose hope in fast food. If you want good pizza near Gardendale, this is the place. “I needed a good pizza before they closed and can't complain about the food as I ordered about an hour before closing. I know the workers wanted to finish and close so I was happy with the friendly service provided. I tried using a coupon over the phone but their system wouldn't take it. Fortunately, the worker volunteered some other deals that were perfect and I had a great pizza to take home and end a long day. I won't fault them for not being able to use the coupon as it was the computer system and the worker found a solution to the problem that worked for me. I think all these companies are pushing their online apps for ordering and I'm not a fan. I prefer my pizza with real people not a dumb app I have to thumb through and do the work I used to do when I worked at a pizza place in my younger years. Anyways, great food, nice workers, and fair prices. I'll be back as I've ordered from here before and always have a good experience.“
