“I loved biscuit express. I was a bored housewife and decided to get a job there, it looked like fun. didn't need the money, just a new set of walls to look at and to get out of the house sometimes, shopping gets old. was threatened almost daily with being written up because of a hypocritical manager who said one thing and did another. one such example was "you can't handle out the food until the transaction it completely done" (paraphrased for space) and yet i read on Facebook how sone guy got his for free because he forgot his wallet. And all of these "write ups" are per owner Brandee Anderson or we are told. now as someone who has been in the fast food industry for over 30 years and only wants to work because she feels like it. I know you need to do something about the management issues, because your Meridianville location is ran by "do what i say and not what I do" managers. aka look at the cameras. want more information call me.. and don't forget your cell phone "policy" you are losing a lot of good money and people because of management, maybe the owner need to ask the staff, ones that have nothing to lose, about it.”

“We drove a hour and half and 2 of our children celebrating thier birthday dinner there and we were WOWed over !! . First being welcomed there and the owner helping us find a parking space because they were full , to taking family pics of us for us. Everyone was so kind , hospital and welcoming. Now to the food, oh my goodness the steaks were perfect the salad was crisp n fresh, and don't skip on desserts because they were equally just as delicious. My family enjoyed everything so much , plus how kind everyone we and met and spoke to .I cant remember the last time I went out to eat and was made to feel so welcome for coming. It is well worth the road trip and we will be back again .”

“Flint River Coffee Company has been our favorite coffee shop for over a decade. We bring our friends here for the yummy sandwiches and smoothies too. They love to sit in the "library" and have a private table. I believe they have the best hot chocolate in town. The owners and staff do their very best to serve everyone who walks in the door. “The best Street Mexican food ever compared to Alabama, Tennessee, Arizona, and California. Homemade tortillas, fresh produce, and well seasoned meats. This trailer is the cleanest and most sanitary I have seen and scored in all of North Alabama. Ricardo and his wife are the friendliest group of people working in the general public. If you want the best, by the best, then this is your place.”

“To start, I always enjoy the atmosphere here, I love the dim lighting. I'm always amazed by the staff and how amicable they are! Their food is always great! The salsa is spot on and so is the cheese dip! Lastly, the drinks here are delicious! If you haven't tried a cucumber margarita you need to! Ask for tajin on the rim and you will thank me later!”

“El Mariachi & staff took care of our group of 20+ last night with ease! Food was amazing with perfect portion sizes and a lot of variety! When we approached him for making our surprise birthday dinner a reality, he made sure everything was perfect! from letting us decorate a couple hours early, storing the cake for the surprise, and of course helping us celebrate my husband. All meals were reasonably priced, drinks were wonderful!The Blue Hawaiian was my favorite drink and the margaritas were sooooo BIIIIIG and affordable!!! They were staffed perfectly to cover the regular patrons and our big party group and did so with ease! I cannot say enough good things!”

“If you live or work in the vicinity of Winchester & Homer Nance I highly recommend trying Rafael’s Italian Restaurant!!! Not only because the place is nice and clean, prices are pretty amazing, and the baked spaghetti is FREAKING BOMB… but BECAUSE - I went by tonight to pick up our (now on permanent rotation) spaghetti and my order (always with special requests) was wrong. I ordered baked spaghetti with marinara (not meat) sauce, no mushrooms, add pepperoni and black olives. When I checked the order, there were mushrooms. So, I took it back inside. The young man that took my order looked puzzled when I said it had mushrooms & asked his co-worker if all baked spaghetti had mushrooms (he seemed fairly new). She said yes and he said, “Ah… she told me that (when I ordered), but I didn’t think it had them, so I didn’t write it down”. Then he sincerely apologized and asked them to remake it. He didn’t make excuses, he took responsibility and made it right. That, nowadays my friends, is RARE!! So, if you are out that way, give them a try!! I have had their pizza, the tortellini, & a large salad and all were good. The only thing I have not been impressed with is the garlic bread. Not toasted & not very garlicky. Not in the mood for Italian, they have sandwiches and even some Mexican-ish/Fajita type choices. Otherwise… 🤌🏻 They are just past Bed & Biscuit on Homer Nance. Bon Appetit!”

“Even though they were closed today, their website mistakenly showed they were open. Despite this, the owner went out of his way to accommodate me. He drove an hour back to the city to make my food, and his response was incredibly prompt. The food was hot, delicious, and prepared with care. On top of that, he was extremely polite and pleasant throughout the whole experience. Outstanding customer service! I will definitely be back to show my support.”
