6 Best Italian Restaurants near Northport

“Ok I love Mr G’s in Northport but we just had the worst experience there. We ordered 2 ham and cheese sandwich’s, one with fries and the other with side salad. After around 45 minutes with no food I went to check on it. The cashier went in the back and asked about it and they were shaking their heads so she came and printed out another ticket. I heard one of the men ask her something in an irritated voice and she told him she was just checking on her order. I had been very nice up until I heard him get an attitude so obviously I felt I needed to get one to. She came back and said they were just waiting for them to come out of the oven. I said really then why were they acting like they didn’t know there was an order if it was in the oven. I could tell she was getting flustered having to deal with them and I was starting to get more than just annoyed so I just said ok and went back to my seat. After another 20 minutes we got our food. I noticed the man that had ordered after us walking up to the register with his receipt and when he came back by I asked if he was still waiting on his food. He was and said that if they ever got their food they were never coming back. When we finished and were leaving they were still sitting there waiting. Mr G’s you may have just lost a lot of return business tonight.“

“A group of us Canadians came down and had a great time there. We were a party of 8 and showed up as a walk-in. The staff worked hard to make something work and find us a table. The food was delicious. Both the manager and owner took time to sit down with us and talk about Tuscaloosa, the football team and the University. I very much appreciated the effort Christian and his staff went to provide my friends and I with memorable dinning experience. Go to Sugo and Roll Tide!“
