People in the kitchen in view of the cash register were making plates and eating French fries out of peoples plates while they fixed them

Based on reviews, this Zaxby’s has excellent food and service, but the facilities desperately need some maintenance. The staff are kind, friendly, and helpful. The service is fast, friendly, and efficient. The food is always fresh and hot. The grilled chicken sandwich meal was warm, and the fries were pretty good and hot. However, the drink machine was surrounded by water and ice, causing the floors in the dining room to be sticky. Some tables were dirty and dingy. Trash cans outside were overflowing and smelled horrible. This Zaxby’s must have been here for decades without any upkeep because it is rough looking. The staff make the customers a priority. The customer service sometimes can be a little iffy, but the food is always good.
