“First time trying Down South BBQ and the food was yummy. Ordered a variety for everyone to try and the only thing that everyone didn't care for was the mac and cheese. It wasn't creamy and cheesy and lacked flavor. I could order a gallon of their bbq sauce and just drink it, it was so good. I also loved their hoe cake sandwich. I ordered mine with chopped brisket and it was mouth watering yummy! I ordered ahead of time and picked it up.“

“This place is not only a great place to eat, It’s a place that locals love to gather. You can come here for a cocktail and friendship or you can come eat a great meal. They also run trivia and bingo and get a great loyal following of locals and transplants to this area. A night out at Moe’s isn’t just a night out. It’s a night out with friends that make you feel like family. Don’t forget to check out the meat counter in the market next-door that’s part of this organization! I highly recommend the shepherds pie and the bacon is the best in town.“

“We stopped here for dinner after shopping. Service was spot on with friendly service from entering to our exit to make us feel welcome. The food was delicious with perfect portions. If we didn’t live in Virginia we’d definitely frequent this restaurant.“

“First of all, The bread and butter was just, No flavor, No Barqs Rootbeer, No Dr. Pepper, No Italian Salad Dressing, No French salad dressing, COME ON!!?? The Service was 5 star Service. Nellie, was Very Sweet, Very fast and friendly, I loved her.“
