“We had a party of 7. Got there at 5:30, restaurant was about half full. Appetizers came out right away and were good, crab platter was pretty fast as well and delicious. They give you a little bib and some gloves so you don’t make a mess. Our server was Amber and she was very nice and quite attentive. My drink never got much below half. We will definitely be back. Dining are and bathrooms were clean and maintained, the 4 star for atmosphere is only because the place still looks like a Pizza Hut to me but not much you can do about that. We will definitely be back!!!“

“On a recent visit to Captain D's, I was surprised to see the menu has changed just a little bit. The price was about as expected. The restaurant was clean. As for the service, that's where things got interesting.An elderly customer came in that couldn't speak, or he couldn't hear, or maybe both. Felicia was the person who waited on him. She didn't miss a beat. She found paper and a pencil and never missed a beat. When his order was complete, he used a card to pay for his meal. For whatever reason, his card didn't go through (at least this is what I assume from what happened next). Felicia gave him his drink and helped him to a table. She then went into the back of the store, came back with cash (presumably of her own), and paid for his meal without hesitation.Meanwhile, another elderly customer was finishing up her meal. This customer spoke to Felicia before leaving. She soon returned. The staff asked if they could help her. She explained that she couldn't find her cell phone. The staff all immediately began scouring the store in an honest attempt to help this lady. They then went with her to her car to look for the phone.Felicia was especially helpful to everyone, but the entire staff was over and above the call of duty in their attempts to help their customers.My order was delayed for some reason. I didn't even care. It was OK. My order was correct, my food was warm, and the extra miles the staff went to for the elderly customers made a bit of a wait on my behalf more than worth it.And Felicia, good job! I am rarely impressed by someone doing their job, but you went so far beyond that it was heartwarming. Thank you for having respect for others.“
