“This place is a hidden gem in Pleasant Grove. 15-20 minutes from Birmingham and with the drive. The owner is so friendly and welcoming. The food is very fresh and delicious, you can tell there's a lot of love put into it. There are American choices for the less adventurous eaters and children's menu, also vegetarian options! My personal favorites are the falafel plate, Greek salad, tahini sauce, hummus and baklava. All homemade! Go try it, you won't be disappointed!”

“I hate I didn’t take a picture… but I got a cheeseburger combo with Cajun ranch fries… the burger was seasoned so good and had that “straight from my house” taste and the Cajun fries didn’t make it past the parking lot!!! Everything was good and I will definitely be back!!!”

The workers are so friendly and have a board of photos of customers who came to their last building, my family and I are on it because my family has been going even before I was born. Prices have gone up way too much and they don’t honor coupons majority of the time at this location and the atmosphere is just so so; but mp keeps us coming back with her amazing customer service!”

“This was our first visit to Jubilee Joe's, but it won't be our last. The food we ordered was amazing. The Etouffè was the best I have ever eaten, wonderful flavor and a nice kick of heat. We enjoyed it so much, we got some to go. The Seafood Gumbo was top notch. Again amazing flavor. The service was fantastic, as well. Friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant.”

“Vecchia’s overall is amazing! Delicious food, a variety of beverages, great atmosphere and most of all a superb staff! In addition, they offer throughout the week live music entertainment, 1/2 off wine on Wednesday, kid’s eat free on Tuesdays, Cooking classes, and bouncy house for kiddos on the weekends. Highly recommend!!!”

“They are a small business food truck that demonstrates nothing but exemplary customer service. My husband went by while they were in Helena for their to die for peach crumble. They were out of the dessert but they offered to make half a pan for us and said they will have it ready the next day at their next location at Shelby Baptist. I went by to pick it up and not only did they have it ready but they brought it out to me at my car. They are such nice people and I’m very happy at the customer service they display. Let’s support Battle Axe and I urge you to make it a point to go by and try all of their scrumptious food. Thank you Battle Axe.”

Most people don’t realize that the server IS the face of the company and she was kind, cheerful and full of wit and spared with me from the beginning.
