“I ordered a to go order for my mother who is on hospice. I got home with the order and found out that I had only been given half the order, which was all fried. I wasn't very happy that I had to go back and get what I ordered for my mother, which was a bowl of gumbo. I called and let them know they hadn't given me what I wanted, and they started saying that I hadn't ordered it, to which I responded that was the first thing I ordered. So I went back and got the gumbo and told them that they hadn't given me the bread pudding, either. The guy went to the kitchen to get it, but it took 15 minutes for him to bring it to me, and he had apparently waited for someone else's order before bringing my bread pudding. I am very, very disappointed in the service I received at this location and may never return. Yes, I am a local who has been there more times than I can remember. For you to have been in business for so many years, I expected much better service. This is not how you stay in business.”

“We had lunch at Azteca’s Saraland and had the best server! Annsley was so sweet and left a beautiful Bible verse on our check receipt. We definitely need more people like her & it was refreshing to have such great service!”

“Was a last minute decision to stop in late on our way home. Glad we did! Over the top service, friendly and attentive (and we walked in 40 minutes before closing). Ribs and pull pork were very tasty with leftover to take home! Will be going back! Thank you for a good dinner Ron!”

“I enjoy the food and atmosphere. I don't like that we tip the cashiers.

Maybe it's not required, but I don't think we should be asked. The cashier is right there and knows whether we tip and how much. It is awkward to put no tip.

I always tip servers at least 15%. They are going back and forth to our table, checking that the food is good, if we need anything, etc.”

“My family and I love our Godfather's Pizza! The Taco pizza and the Chesse burger pizza are our absolute favorites! I've never had a bad experience at any location but tonight I made an order and had to return one of the pizzas because it wasn't quite cooked all the way which was no big deal (we all make mistakes) The manager was really awesome and gave us a refund and another pizza..I couldn't ask for better! Love that place 😁”

“This is my favorite place in Saraland. They have the best Caramel frappes! I stop every morning on my way to work no matter how long the line is or how late I'm running. I ordered the CoCo cream and it’s the best drink I’ve tried in a while that’s not one of my daily orders. The girls working this morning were so sweet and welcoming. “They have truly mastered the art of frying here. Perfect batter, nothing felt too heavy. Golden brown and crisp, and just enough seasoning. The catfish and shrimp were both good, the fried okra needed just a little salt but glad it wasnt over salted. The fried pickles are done right, just simple batter and a good dill chip. They didnt taste over seasoned or salty like most places. Will def come back to try some steamed items as well.”

The sandwiches are consistently fresh and delicious, and the customer service, professionalism, kindness, and cleanliness at this location are unmatched. It’s easy to see why we keep coming back!”

So, when our food was awesome, the service was awesome & the restaurant was squeaky clean, it put the whole experience at an 11 on a 10/10 scale!! Definitely recommend to any& everyone, any time!!”

“My experience at this particular location is always great the servers are very kind and the food is really good.. But tonight on Sunday December 19,2021 wasn't their best. I normally get the cheesesteak melt with hashbrowns I ask if they would pretty please leave the bacon with no weight. Unfortunately the food tonight was terrible the hashbrowns were cold in the middle an the bacon looked like beef Jerky ha ha !! However my server told the cook my order correctly an was very kind an helpful.. I normally don't complain but I always get great service here .. I hope their better next time!!
