“I ordered a to go order for my mother who is on hospice. I got home with the order and found out that I had only been given half the order, which was all fried. I wasn't very happy that I had to go back and get what I ordered for my mother, which was a bowl of gumbo. I called and let them know they hadn't given me what I wanted, and they started saying that I hadn't ordered it, to which I responded that was the first thing I ordered. So I went back and got the gumbo and told them that they hadn't given me the bread pudding, either. The guy went to the kitchen to get it, but it took 15 minutes for him to bring it to me, and he had apparently waited for someone else's order before bringing my bread pudding. I am very, very disappointed in the service I received at this location and may never return. Yes, I am a local who has been there more times than I can remember. For you to have been in business for so many years, I expected much better service. This is not how you stay in business.”

“My husband and I went for his birthday dinner. It was our first time there. It was great food and service! It was no wait. Our waitress, Cat, did a wonderful job! She was very courteous, friendly, and helpful! She made sure we were satisfied with everything. The food was delicious! When I asked what she recommended that was good she said she loved the Tacos de Carne Asada. It didn’t take long for us to get our food. My husband tried the Tacos de Carne Asada and wasn’t disappointed! He loved it! I had the steak and rice. All of the food was delicious! It was large portions, so we had food to take home. We both had mojitos, mine was strawberry and his was blue. They were so good! He had happy birthday sung to him for the first time in Spanish! He was very surprised! The desert was awesome! Our first experience was wonderful, and we will be coming back! Thank you so much for a great birthday dinner for my husband! Highly recommend!”

“Was a last minute decision to stop in late on our way home. Glad we did! Over the top service, friendly and attentive (and we walked in 40 minutes before closing). Ribs and pull pork were very tasty with leftover to take home! Will be going back! Thank you for a good dinner Ron!”

The prices are very reasonable. We drove from Pensacola just to get godfathers. Would love for them to get us one here. Until then this place is well worth the trip.”

“This is my favorite place in Saraland. They have the best Caramel frappes! I stop every morning on my way to work no matter how long the line is or how late I'm running. The staff is amazing and friendly. Best customer service I've ever had. Mokas is doing EVERYTHING right!! I will never do coffee anywhere else!♥️ Keep up the good work!”

“They have truly mastered the art of frying here. Perfect batter, nothing felt too heavy. Golden brown and crisp, and just enough seasoning. The catfish and shrimp were both good, the fried okra needed just a little salt but glad it wasnt over salted. The fried pickles are done right, just simple batter and a good dill chip. They didnt taste over seasoned or salty like most places. Will def come back to try some steamed items as well.”

“I’m from out of town and live by Nutrion drinks 😂 I found this little spot while visiting my friend and went there this morning. I ordered the CoCo cream and it’s the best drink I’ve tried in a while that’s not one of my daily orders. The girls working this morning were so sweet and welcoming. “I called in a cash pay take out order at 9:15PM on a Thursday & was given no trouble at all!!That's unheard of these days, so I was impressed right out the gate. So, when our food was awesome, the service was awesome & the restaurant was squeaky clean, it put the whole experience at an 11 on a 10/10 scale!! Definitely recommend to any& everyone, any time!!”

“My experience at this particular location is always great the servers are very kind and the food is really good.. But tonight on Sunday December 19,2021 wasn't their best. I normally get the cheesesteak melt with hashbrowns I ask if they would pretty please leave the bacon with no weight. Unfortunately the food tonight was terrible the hashbrowns were cold in the middle an the bacon looked like beef Jerky ha ha !! However my server told the cook my order correctly an was very kind an helpful.. I normally don't complain but I always get great service here .. I hope their better next time!! Thank you Merry Christmas”
