“I enjoy the food and atmosphere. I don't like that we tip the cashiers.

Maybe it's not required, but I don't think we should be asked. The cashier is right there and knows whether we tip and how much. It is awkward to put no tip.

I always tip servers at least 15%. They are going back and forth to our table, checking that the food is good, if we need anything, etc.“

“I ordered a to go order for my mother who is on hospice. I got home with the order and found out that I had only been given half the order, which was all fried. I wasn't very happy that I had to go back and get what I ordered for my mother, which was a bowl of gumbo. I called and let them know they hadn't given me what I wanted, and they started saying that I hadn't ordered it, to which I responded that was the first thing I ordered. So I went back and got the gumbo and told them that they hadn't given me the bread pudding, either. The guy went to the kitchen to get it, but it took 15 minutes for him to bring it to me, and he had apparently waited for someone else's order before bringing my bread pudding. I am very, very disappointed in the service I received at this location and may never return. Yes, I am a local who has been there more times than I can remember. For you to have been in business for so many years, I expected much better service. This is not how you stay in business.“

Treating fresh local ingredients so well and not over complicating the plate is a rare thing. Most chefs try to show you how "cheffy" they are. Get the Carolina Gold Rice with the Blue Crab. It's the perfect dish. Fresh Crab, the rice is perfection and would make southern food enthusiasts like Sean Brock ask for seconds. We'll done!“

“Very enjoyable. Food was very good, although fish of the day, blackened red snapper, was somewhat overcooked. The chicken dish was very tasty but would be better if served off the bone. Waygu flat iron got voted as the best dish of the evening. The fried pimento cheese app was great. All in all a very very good meal from apps to desserts. Excellent bread pudding. From the phone service when we called to ask if they could accommodate a large party, to the floor service from the moment we walked in until the time we left, everything was excellent. “I recently hosted a baby shower at B&S Mobile and I was blown away by the accommodations, the staff, the food, everything! I worked with Kaitlin and she did a fantastic job. She handled our catering order and constantly checked in on us throughout the event- we never wanted for anything! And the food… so good!! I could’ve eaten a whole plate of the hash browns alone, but it was all fantastic. 10/10, highly recommend!“

“The food was good except the biscuits were like hockey pucks. The problem I had with it was that it wasn't hot. I did a curbside pickup and went straight home from the restaurant, and the food was cold so that makes me think it was sitting there for a while waiting to be picked up. I actually arrived at the time it said the pickup would be ready, but I believe it was ready way before that time.“
