“Was working in Tuscaloosa and a restaurant with a two hour wait recommended the River. We had the steak filet and the seared tuna. Both dishes were absolutely amazing. The service was outstanding and the whole experience was just classy and comfortable. Brussel sprouts were on special for an appetizer, they were the best we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“We were at the game this past weekend and we had the BEST experience at Jackie’s. We parked a little far away for my elderly father to be able to walk all the way and stopped to get some drinks and find a taxi or shuttle service. Everyone was so nice to us and helped us find a ride the rest of the way to the stadium. They were so helpful and kind and you can tell they truly love what they’re doing and love to see folks walking by. “My FAVVVV go-to BAR in Tuscaloosa on Game Day!! Thank God we got there before they started charging cover because it was $40 per person when playing Texas ? Which is absolutely absurd. We couldn't even go upstairs for free after eating downstairs and getting there early.. But whatever. Still my favorite bar. Bartenders are friendly and fast and attentive. Pool table, garage doors...small, but plenty of room for fun with your friends! A regular stop for us when we are in town!“
