“Taylor was our bartender and he was incredibly kind and welcoming from the start. He had such a cool, sincere energy and really made the experience feel special instead of rushed or transactional. We ended up talking about how he wants to be a chef, and you can tell he’s genuinely passionate and creative, which really shows in how he approaches his work. The drinks were super tasty and well-made, and everything felt thoughtful and intentional. Overall, such a great vibe at the bar. Highly recommend sitting with Taylor if you get the chance. #crowiykyk“

“Had an overall good experience. The interior is eclectic and quirky, with dollar bills stapled throughout — definitely adds character, even if I’m still not entirely sure of the tradition behind it.
I sat at the bar and the service was a standout. The staff was friendly, attentive, and quick to refill drinks, which made the experience comfortable and welcoming. The fries were fresh, hot, and crispy — easily one of the highlights.
The burger was decent but didn’t quite hit the mark for me. It wasn’t a full smashburger, more somewhere in between, and leaned a bit overcooked. The bacon was also on the overdone side, which took away from the overall richness and juiciness I was hoping for.
That said, the atmosphere and service make this a solid spot, and I’d return — especially for drinks and fries. With a little more consistency on the burgers, this could easily be a five-star experience.“

“We were at the game this past weekend and we had the BEST experience at Jackie’s. We parked a little far away for my elderly father to be able to walk all the way and stopped to get some drinks and find a taxi or shuttle service. Everyone was so nice to us and helped us find a ride the rest of the way to the stadium. They were so helpful and kind and you can tell they truly love what they’re doing and love to see folks walking by. They’re a joy to be around and we’ll definitely plan to stop in the next time we’re in town! Thank you! 🖤❤️🤍“

“Hands down my favorite bar on the strip. The bartenders and security are dedicated to making you’re experience a great one. They provide great service and have such a welcoming environment. They have such reasonable prices and happy hour is half off everything! Most importantly, the drinks tasted great and the bartenders were incredible. I highly recommend this place.“

“Was working in Tuscaloosa and a restaurant with a two hour wait recommended the River. We had the steak filet and the seared tuna. Both dishes were absolutely amazing. The service was outstanding and the whole experience was just classy and comfortable. Brussel sprouts were on special for an appetizer, they were the best we’ve ever had. I highly recommend this restaurant.“

“My FAVVVV go-to BAR in Tuscaloosa on Game Day!! Thank God we got there before they started charging cover because it was $40 per person when playing Texas ? Which is absolutely absurd. We couldn't even go upstairs for free after eating downstairs and getting there early.. But whatever. Still my favorite bar. They have the best fries and can't go wrong with traditional chicken fingers! Will always visit when in T-Town! And we also had the cutest bartender, Sarah? I think lol ?“

“We took a large party of 25 for a birthday party. Carlos, the GM, and David, our waiter, went above and beyond to take care of us and other large parties at the same time. The kitchen staff also did a great job with the food. We will definitely be back.“
“One of the classic bars in Tuscaloosa. From the pool table to karaoke on Wednesdays, Red Shed has the college bar atmosphere that is hard to beat. They’ll often have live music from local bands as well and they work with a lot of orgs for philanthropy events.“
“Fun bar with lots of character...and full of local characters! A “dive bar” in the best possible way. Energetic atmosphere, good music and great drink specials. Bartenders are friendly and fast and attentive. Pool table, garage doors...small, but plenty of room for fun with your friends! A regular stop for us when we are in town!“
