The take-out was very good. I had the Wonton-Eggdrop Soup, Beef and Broccoli with Fried Dumplings. Hot and delicious. I've gone here a number of times when staying in Tuscaloosa for work.
This is not Mr. Chen's but that is okay. It is good, quick Chinese comfort food. Great for a lazy night dinner in front of the TV. This time we had the Orange Beef, the General's Chicken and of course the dumplings. No photos because we ate it all before thinking about it. The Chef's Specials and the large packages are enough to have leftovers for at least lunch the next day. $37 dollars for 2 people and got a dinner and lunch for each of us out of it. Bland and overpriced. For $12 (after tax), I got 8 wing PIECES (that's LESS THAN THREE chicken wings). yellow rice fried with shrimp and onion (no seasoning, egg, or vegetable), and a REALLY greasy egg roll.I was very disappointed. Yesterday, I tried the Philly cheesesteak egg roll. It was well wrapped and seasoned. That's not what today's food tasted like.
