“I had breakfast for dinner. Now,I know so many think they're too upscale to go here, but those folks are missing out. When I walked in, it was VERY busy, the cook properly wearing a "Rock Star Cook" shirt. He looked really young, but DANG!!! He was slinging with the best of them! There was a crew of 4 and they were hopping the whole time! Either actively serving, cleaning, or organizing. Even for the couple of minutes when they weren't, they were looking for something to do! Oh, and the food was done to perfection. It only seems like you can't screw up breakfast until you've had floppy bacon, crispy eggs, and white or charred hashbrowns. And a heckuva LOT cheaper than fast food!
Do yourself a solid and try this place out. Or...go someplace and pay $20 plus tip...or go to fast food and pay $35 for the same amount of food.“
“If you like Waffle House, this location never dissapoints. Right off the interstate and easy to get to, it is never to busy. Servers are always attentive and get your order correct while the cook handles your food with all the love that your average Waffle House is allowed to. Clean tables, floors, and bathrooms (as clean as possible for a WH) this location is solid and worth a sit down. Enjoy!“
“James and Corey or (Korey) were the working at the time that I went. I went around 5ish today. They made sure we had everything my daughter and I asked for. They both were very friendly. I really liked the fact that the bathrooms were really clean especially with having a child.“
“My first Waffle House experience and it was fantastic! For starters, not only was the staff very friendly for an early Saturday morning, but they were all very polite as well. We sat down and ordered quickly, and our server was on top of everything. Our food came out fairly quickly and everything tasted great. I also paid attention to how friendly the staff was with the cool while they submitted orders and waited for their orders to go out. There was no shouting, they were polite, they weren't in each other's way and they were working quickly and efficiently. The cashier was sweet and friendly, and everyone thanked us as we left. I'm sure this restaurant gets very busy during the year, as they are on The Strip in Tuscaloosa, but I'm sure they're just as quick, efficient and awesome then as they were on an early Saturday morning. I will definitely eat here again next time I'm in Tuscaloosa, and hopefully all other Waffle Houses deliver the same experience as this one did. Thank you to everyone for such a great experience! ?“
“Walked to this location from our hotel by the highway after we got in. Was not expecting it to by closed inside from 11:30-6am, never seen that anywhere before. We used the pickup window to order our food and waited around 10-15 minutes for it. The staff were nice and helpful. The food was some of the best made Waffle House. 20% is added for to go orders, 10% for the chef and 10% for them to bag your order.“
