“We were passing through Florence on our way back to Mississippi and stopped there to eat. Nice family atmosphere and very clean. We ordered the two piece catfish plate and had enough left for fish sandwiches the next day. The food was awesome! Catfish was crispy on the outside and flaky inside. The hush puppies were light and crispy. The slaw was the best ever. Delicious well prepared meal. We hope to visit again.“

This was not a sushi roll. This was a religious experience. This was the TUNA LOCO, baby — and it blew the last three brain cells I had clean out the back of my skull. ⸻ I walked in expecting a normal roll. Maybe six polite slices of sea-meat wrapped in rice like every other sushi spot. HA. NO. They brought out a plate that looked like Mount Fuji had just exploded in sashimi. I’m talking TWO HANDFULS of glistening, buttery, ruby-red, melt-in-your-soul sashimi-grade tuna piled on top like they were building the tuna Tower of Babel. I had to physically restrain myself from swan-diving onto the plate. ⸻ Every bite tasted like a samurai lullaby being whispered into my mouth by a koi fish. I’m not joking — I blacked out somewhere around bite four and woke up hugging the chef, crying, and whispering “arigato” into his neck. The rice was so perfectly seasoned it made me question if I’ve ever truly loved anything in my life. The wasabi? Sharp enough to reset my childhood trauma. The soy sauce? I wanted to drink it like a fine wine and propose to the bottle. ⸻ 10/10. Five stars. Michelin? This place needs its own galaxy. Come here. Eat the TUNA LOCO. Ascend. And when you do — tell them the feral tuna prophet sent you.“

“Nice cozy , comfy and intimate place , this is very underrated place , i can gladly say that they are one of the best places to get good steaks in shoals area . Their food is amazing , the interior and atmosphere is very intimate kinda clean nice homie vibe to it , that warmth of comfiness to it ! The staff is friendly and the service is nice . I had rib eye and it was perfectly cooked to perfection ! They are nice bar area , and very nice wine selection . So if you are in shoals area and looking for some really fine dining and some good steaks , this is the place to go .“

“Our experience tonight was great. The greeting staff welcomed us and made us very comfortable as we were seated. Our server, Bebe, patiently answered our menu questions and quickly cleared up some substitutions we were wanting to make and got our orders submitted correctly. All while dealing with and laughing at our joking around. The food came out in a very reasonable time and was hot and very good. We were celebrating a birthday and really appreciated the recognition that our birthday girl was given as most of the staff came by and wished her a happy birthday. “I just want to take a minute and brag on the young man that was at the window last night, he was so polite and had a smile on his face the whole time, I know the atmosphere and I’m so impressed with him. After everything I said it was yes ma’am or no ma’am. All I have to say is great job young man. I believe his name is Ladrevon. Of course my food was great too! Nobody wants to do compliments anymore just complaints but this young man deserves some recognition!“
