“So glad we stumbled on this place. We normally aren't in this are because we live in gadsden but my husband had an appointment and happen to pick a spot on maps and will definitely go back. Our server was so fun and happy to be there;That really matters. She made it that much more of an amazing visit. They had a baseball team there and she was on top of our drinks and kept apologizing for our wait but we aren't those people who walk in and think. It's only the two of us, we should be first. No way. Food was great and its very clean in there. Go if you want a good experience. I know it was our waitresses birthday and would of bought her a drink if we could of. Thank you 😊“

“We love Marty’s GM SO much! We moved away from the area years ago but still try to plan our trips to Birmingham around a trip to Marty’s! We always get the Chicken Bacon Ranch Egg Rolls, Goat Popper Burger, and French Fries. And then depending on what they have in the frozen machine, a frozen margarita or a bushwacker. Everything is always perfectly cooked and delicious! Honestly , it’s wild how consistent the food has been over the years. Absolutely fantastic every time we go.“

“When I go to Topgolf, I typically have a great time but last night I was disgusted me and two friends went there to eat and have a good time we went into the restaurant. We waited an hour before anyone even spoke to us then when we stopped a few of the workers one guy with dreads that was working the bar with a red shirt on, he was rude. When I asked did he work there and when I asked him to get us a server he ignored me after several attempts to get an employee to come, Services us savanna a server came to the table after 45 minutes of trying her best to ignore us and several other customers and asked the drink orders but at this point we’re ordering food as well long story short we spent we came in at 9 didn’t leave the restaurant part until 1130 and missed our spot at the golf course. When we asked for the check that took 45 minutes even though it was almost empty in the place. It seem like no manager cared or just wasn’t present the place was being ran by kids and it was horrible.“

“bartenders are great. food is great. they have karaoke on Wednesdays and maybe other nights as well I'm not sure. they stay open till 2:00 a.m. which is great if you want to go somewhere after work. it's very laid back environment. they have a couple of pool tables and darts and multiple restrooms which is great for a bar instead of a line.“

We've been a handful of times with some other families and enjoyed the food- our one request is to have chicken fingers/chicken nuggets on the menu! We would come more often if our kids had more options! But very happy we have Paramount as another restaurant option nearby. :)“

“I give a five star rating only because of the friends and memories of singing kareoke with Kareoke Joe(Who I miss talking too there). If you want to have a better time without having to worry about nonsense, go to Blues and Brews right next door. Much better atmosphere.

That being said, it has been over 3 years since the absolute false rumors were started about me by who knows? Last time I was in Pub 261, was having a great time with friends I haven't seen in awhile, this was THREE YEARS AGO, rooting them on kareoke and they were doing the same for me. I paid my tab when I was leaving, said bye to everyone and Joe Kareoke as usual who I've known for 20 years.

I came back several days later and was stopped at the door and told that im banned. This was Three years ago and I've tried, in a very civil manner, to reach out as to why and have only been told im lifetime ban(friends of mine have told me and shown me of the HORRIBLY FALSE RUMORS about me as to why). I was a patron for many years. I didn't start a scene there, never been one of these people that was arrested there or anything. It's one thing to suspend someone, even over a false rumor, till the nonsense dies down. It's another to permanently ban someone UNJUSTLY. I know many reading this know who I am and maybe have even participated in the false rumoring. It's really character defamation as well and all I want is to come back and sing kareoke and mind my own business. Beware, I suppose, because youll just be banned for no reason if they are in a bad mood.“
