“I’ve procrastinated on visiting since I always get salads from Mazzio’s but I’m glad I did! The salad bar was full and everything appeared fresh and colorful. I love that they require you to wear gloves. It’s extremely clean. Yes, they charge by the pound (didn’t know this). It makes sense because it’s a full salad bar with an abundance of options. I’ve visited twice and each salad was $17 (damn! ?) I’d continue going because they have the best ranch. The cashiers do look miserable but maybe because it’s 30 degrees in there.“

“It had been a very long time since I had been to Cheddar's. Didn't have a good experience then and just never went back. I'm happy to say that things have improved! Our group of eight (5 adults and 2 children) visited on Sunday afternoon for lunch. We were seated promptly. Our server did a great job. Bread and drinks were brought quickly. Drinks were kept full. Everyone was pleased with their food. Orders included meatloaf, pork chops, fried chicken, and a few other things. Overall it was a very pleasant experience.“

“Great steak. Highly recommend the New York strip only sat for maybe 5 minutes before we ordered food came out really fast no time at all and was cooked exactly how we wanted. Our server, Trinity did an outstanding job serving us, we go frequently and this is the second time we were seated in her area. She is a wonderful server and wants to please the customers. “NEVER ever have I been so impressed with a restaurant!!!! I've never eaten here until today, so it took me a few minutes to figure out what I wanted. This isn't a sit down and then order, you have to order before you sit down. So, as I stated it took me a few minutes to decide on what I wanted. The lady at the counter was so patient and kind, she answered any questions I had with a smile on her face. Then we sat down at a table. I kid you not when I say that the name serves them well!!! Express doesn't even describe how quickly our food came out, it was like 5 minutes, if that. The food was popping hot and fresh! The server we had was so nice and patient with us (Mousiepoo was a bit loud) and if we asked for anything, she jumped on it with a smile on her face and quickly! It was such a great experience and made an impression on me! So if you ever need something fresh and really good, stop in and enjoy your visit!! Thank you Sue's Kitchen Express for setting the bar high for other restaurants, they could take lessons from you!!!!“

“We ordered delivery and the food was so good! I was pleasantly surprised with the high quality of the food. The chipotle burger was huge and the Philly had lots of steak on it. Everything was fresh and seasoned well. One suggestion/request I would make is if all the different sides could be available a la carte on DoorDash. We definitely would’ve loaded up on a bunch of them if we could have :)“

“We are from Joplin, MO, and came to visit family and take time off for my wife's birthday. The family had to work but recommended Whistle Stop. We drove over for breakfast and are so glad we did. One of their customer's was on his way out & I asked how he liked the Café. He said he was 90 years old and came here every morning. He had many good things to say about the restaurant food, service, and cleanliness. His recommendation was right on target. The restaurant was super clean from front to back. The waitress was so kind and attentive to our needs. She brought the pancakes out on a special plate for my wife's birthday and even sang to her. The food was made from scratch and over-the-top delicious. The owner came out and visited with us before we left. We are not in the area very often, but we will return to this hidden gem when we can.“

“It was a very relaxing environment for our little family! Our waitress was beyond amazing! Our pre teen had an unexpected emotional moment and she understood completely instead of judging while we calmed her down! I wish I remembered her name but she had black glasses and her hair was in a clip she even pointed us in some directions of activities for our kids! We will definitely be back again as the food was AMAZING! I now understand why they calll it fat city! ?“

“Our father chose to celebrate his 85th birthday at TX Roadhouse in Jonesboro Arkansas.
His comment was it was the greatest day, including the Roadhouse.
The date & time of service was 8/21/24, 6-8pm.
Special shout out to our server, Marissa! She is definitely an amazing, personable, & attentive server / representative of Roadhouse.
Marissa made his night Very Special.

“Good restaurant and bar in downtown Jonesboro. They serve New Orleans or Louisiana style foods. The gumbo is really good and my favorite dish is the alligator bites. There are multiple levels so you have plenty of options as far as seating goes. It turns into a bar/dance/music club later at night and it seems to be very popular for that. I've been many times since it opened and will be back again as well.“

“Saw this unfold. No chairs were kicked at anyone (especially not by that particular server....if you know you know) this lady went nuts on the entire staff...lol because she wasn't allowed to keep the actual servers ticket. Kept saying but home depot gives us receipts.....everytime I go near home depot I can hear this lady's tantrum in my head....night shift and early morning waitresses are abrasive and rude most of the time. I prefer the middle afternoon waitresses Samantha (?) And Megan (?) I hope I got their names right. Very nice girls that take pride in the job“

This place is my favorite weekly recharge and comfort for brunch on the weekends. My husband and I even had our wedding reception here, which Ramey absolutely outdid herself on coordinating with me for.

“My son and I went for a quick lunch. We already knew what we were eating and informed our waitress when she arrived, she said she didn't have her tablet, no problem ordered our drinks. She checked on other tables and returned with there items and then comes back to us. After she takes our food order, do our drinks arrive. OK, I'm thinking I already informed her we knew what we wanted did she forget?? She was nice and my son said, mom it's cool. We enjoyed our lunch, it was hot. The chicken crispers were very small it would have been nice to have another small piece on there.“

“DELICIOUS food!! Catfish and shrimp is fresh and so tasty. Perfectly moist, and wonderful crunch to the bite! The ice cream sundaes were large and had the best sauces on them too. The fried mushrooms had a yummy crunch with such a juicy flavorful inside.
We were passing through, but if this shake shop was near us... I believe we’d have a table named after my family because we would eat there so frequently! ?? YUM!“
