“The Rivergrille family stepped in when our family needed them most. When our anniversary plans fell through at the last minute, they showed up with generosity, care, and grace, without knowing us and without knowing the full gravity of the moment, turning what could have been a disappointment into a memory we will treasure forever. That evening was my Brothers’ 30th wedding anniversary on November 11. My brother was nearing the end of a ten-month battle with aggressive brain cancer, and time felt incredibly precious. Because of River Grille steakhouse, that night was filled with peace, love, and celebration. My brother passed on Sunday, December 14. He had two goals, to be here for that anniversary and for my nephews college graduation. He accomplished both, and he passed the morning after my nephew graduated. “This was the best pasta dish I have had in my life! I'm gluten and dairy free and used to getting adequate food, but this was an amazing meal. Homemade pasta that was the perfect mouth feel and a sauce that was so delicious I wanted to lick the dish! Gluten free bread, too!“

“Oysters on the half shell and lemon drop martini in a frosted martini glass with sugar on the rim was my favorite. Meatballs and polenta was good. I had imagined a cream sauce on the lobster ravioli but it was tomato based. Next time I’ll try the baked snapper. Over all it was a good experience with helpful polite staff.“

“This restaurant has a nice feel on the top floor of a new hotel. Great view of the city. Not too loud. \n\nWe started at the bar as we arrived earlier than our reservation. The bartender made us great French 75 cocktails even though they were not on the menu. \n\nDinner was very good. We split a filet ($63) and added collards (excellent) and French fries (ok). The Caesar salad was excellent and big enough to share which we did. Good wine selection. \n\nThe wait staff was also bringing tables free food. We got mushrooms and meatballs. The table next to us received a large shrimp cocktail. Service was excellent. \n\nWe would return.“

“Up from Baton Rouge to visit Crystal Bridges museum and other sites. Found MT online. Food was excellent! Service from Emerson was outstanding. Very attentive and chatty. Kudos to him!! We're stuffed.“

“As a group we decided the Honey Garlic Chicken was our favorite meal and the 5 layer lemon cake was our favorite dessert. Our waiter was a sweet young man and the manager on duty stopped by to visit and she was a delight. We will for sure be back.“
